2015 Trip Report

Recommended Posts

I noticed that there isn't a designated trip report thread for 2015 so here it is.

If you have a 2015 trip report please create your own thread for it first, then, copy a link to your thread over to THIS thread.

If people have questions or comments they will respond to your original thread rather than gunk up the List with comments. And they WILL have questions .... about the room, dining, excursions, etc . This will keep the list clean and easy to read.

*** In the first line of your report, please indicate your ship, date, itinerary (and if this was a family trip with kids).

On land we hired a car and visited Girdwood, Palmer, Silver Salmon Creek Lodge in Lake Clark National Park and Seward. The cruise was with Radiance of the Seas travelling from Seward visiting Hubbard Glacier (cruising), Juneau, Skagway, Icy Straight Point (Hoonah) and Ketchikan before sailing to Vancouver

Land tour: Fairbanks 3N Denali 2N Anchorage 1N Seward 1N

Cruise: Embarkation Seward, Glacier Bay, Haines Juneau KETCHIKAN inside passage diembarkation Vancouver.

We are a couple in our late 50's, from England, never cruised HAL before and due to health issues booked this trip very late, allowing HAL to organise everything which they did in the main very well.
