Mass on Easter Sunday?

Been on Princess at Easter a few times and they have always had Mass. Sad if they have abandoned it (and I'm not of the faith), but I guess there are a few factors:

1. Less demand for it

2. Other groups demanding equal treatment

3. Costs (even if it is just giving a priest a cabin).

My bet is #3.

They were well attended. I am sure it is #3 with a decline in spending money on entertainment, though I wouldn't put this in that category, I am guessing Princess sees this similar as they require a cabin.

I am not Catholic but my Mom attended Mass and it was often crowded.

I agree. We had a priest onboard for Easter on the Star Princess in 2011. The Vista Lounge was packed. He offered other Masses throughout the 10-day cruise and they were always well attended.

Every Sunday morning on sea days Princess holds an interdenominational church service good for all folks of all religions including Easter Sunday I always attend these..

I respect Princesses way of handling this.

On other religious days that folks want to hold a service maybe they could mention this on the CC Roll Call. The group gathered would then ask Princess for space on that day.I am certain Princess on the large ships could accommodate their wishes.....:)
