I've done over 125 cruises all over the world, including 3 that stopped at several Atlantic/St Lawrence Seaway ports and 4 (Alaska cruises) that stopped at Vancouver and/or Victoria. And I'll say this...the Canadians were the friendliest of any country that I have visited.

Happy Canada Day to our neighbors, friends and allies up north

John, I heard that because of budget cut-backs and PETA issues, they were going to eliminate the horses and rename it the "Musical Stroll". Better get up here before that happens!

solocanadian: We've had an incredible amount of smoke here in Saskatoon; although we can hear them, we haven't been able to see an airplane for the past 3 days, and they fly almost directly over our home. We are hoping for rain which will help clear the air a bit.

I'm a little envious right now because friends of ours are boarding the Volendam this afternoon and we can only watch on the web cam. :( I hope everyone's having an awesome day, no matter where you are!

Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

Gerry
