Rare whitshel Posted July 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2015 When we were on the Navigator this past March, in the cafe promenade they had cheesecake pops. A little piece of cheesecake covered in white chocolate on a stick. Do they have these on the Oasis? The wife needs to know. Best lil snack on the ship. MaiseyM Posted July 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2015 My kids will love this. They always beg for some at Starbucks. I won't buy them though:o

CntPAcruiser Posted July 10, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 10, 2015 We had these on Explorer last November and couldn't get as excited about them as our tablemates who had recommended them. The cheesecake seemed to be more of the European-style recipe and was grainy, rather than smooth and rich like an New York cheesecake. We were on board for two weeks, B2B, and the Café Promenade had nearly the same selection the entire time we were on board. Apparently gone are the days of something new each day. Several of the savory items were quite good, but the new pastries were not well made and cloyingly sweet. There is a Wonka Pie (I believe was the name), which seemed to be a tart shell filled with soggy crumbled cookies and a syrupy filling. I could conceive of this dessert tasting good if made well, but their version did not.

dacsmom Posted July 10, 2015 #13 Share Posted July 10, 2015 The cake pops were on the Allure in October, they are mighty tasty. I also like the lemonade tarts.
jamesr3939 Posted July 11, 2015 #14 Share Posted July 11, 2015 In March, I seem to recall them on the Oasis at a location on Board Walk, in addition to Prom Café. Can't swear to it since I don't really like sweets. But, on the way to the Dog House seems I saw them somewhere.
