That makes sense! We were guessing that he wouldn't stay with Anthem once it repositioned to NJ, and that he would move to one of ships that will be homeported in the UK. Indy moves back there on May 1, 2016. (tbc...to be continued)

LOL Karen! I suppose that's better than getting an inaccurate answer from them!

 

Turnover date is Aug 30, so I wonder how they do not know yet. (Unless there will be an interim CD for 4-6 weeks, but that's very unlikely)

 

I hope someone on the current sailing is able to ask Topi. I'm sure he knows who will be following him in two weeks.

Thank you! She was the CD on the Serenade on April and I thought she was OK. Not as "in your face" as other CDs, but still visible around the ship. She seemed very nice.

We thought she was totally ineffective as a CD on the Jewel. That was the most boring cruise we've ever been on, and the activities/entertainment were very lacking. Even a dynamic Activities Manager (Elvis Pinto) didn't help her.

I like her a lot. I've booked a couple cruises simply because she has been cd on them. She's visible around the ship and approachable.

So, the handover will be after the transatlantic rather than before. Sept 15 is the first cruise out of NJ. And, Nov 13 is the only sailing that's "mid" November. I'm going with those dates for Carly, for now.

Topi has written on his website that he is on the Serenade of the Seas until 30th of August. I have sent him a message to ask who's replacing him.
