Clarea Posted September 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Viking Crown is quiet during the day. If you want to be outside, but out of the sun, the deck 4 outside promenade works. One side is non-smoking.
cb at sea Posted September 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2015 It will vary from cruise to cruise, but most of the inside bar areas are rarely used early in the day....the library is quiet....the promenade deck....just wander about till you find what you're looking for!!! fdthird Posted September 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2015 On our recent Liberty cruise, didn't seem like many used the heliport.

CPT Trips Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 As bob said deck 4 promenade gets my vote. Dan A lot depends on whether the shaded side is also the smoking side . . . Catacombs is worth checking out during the day if you want inside.

Catacombs is worth checking out during the day if you want inside. That will work until January, when they remove the Catacombs and install staterooms and a restaurant. Clarea Posted October 1, 2015 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2015 What (and where) are the catacombs? Decks 3 and 4. Deck 4 entrance is between Schooner Bar and the Casino.
Rare Scrapnana Posted October 18, 2015 #11 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Quiet spots were hard to come by (just off this morning). Deck 4 promenade was not the ideal place on a NE/Canada cruise in October to sit and watch the sea or read a book. I like to have an ocean view, so most of the bars were not good. The best place I found was the Champagne Bar, deck 4 aft but it (like the Catacombs) will be changed in the January refit.
Ashland Posted October 18, 2015 #12 Share Posted October 18, 2015 For me ... my balcony ... not much noise and foot traffic out there regardless of time of day/night ;)
Justmekaren918 Posted October 18, 2015 #13 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Where are the quiet places or secret hide-aways on Liberty of the Seas? I remember just off Viking was cloud 9 really cool and specifically quiet area; not listed though. My balcony! Outside probably getting lost deck 4 somewhere! The less traveled ways to the courts and flow rider! Have fun nice ship. Don't forget to see the shows! I found upper balcony and side down a bit great and usually away from main crowd.
