Quiet Places on Liberty of the Seas

A lot depends on whether the shaded side is also the smoking side . . .

Catacombs is worth checking out during the day if you want inside.

That will work until January, when they remove the Catacombs and install staterooms and a restaurant.

Deck 4 runs the entire length of the ship, it's not like it's lined with hundreds of smokers from one end to the other........

  • 3 weeks later...

Quiet spots were hard to come by (just off this morning). Deck 4 promenade was not the ideal place on a NE/Canada cruise in October to sit and watch the sea or read a book. I like to have an ocean view, so most of the bars were not good. The best place I found was the Champagne Bar, deck 4 aft but it (like the Catacombs) will be changed in the January refit.

Where are the quiet places or secret hide-aways on Liberty of the Seas?

I remember just off Viking was cloud 9 really cool and specifically quiet area; not listed though. My balcony! Outside probably getting lost deck 4 somewhere! The less traveled ways to the courts and flow rider! Have fun nice ship. Don't forget to see the shows! I found upper balcony and side down a bit great and usually away from main crowd.
