Looks good- buffalo wings and cheesecake are my favourites! Is it open 24 hours on the Sun or is it only open at night?

As others have said only in the evenings/night. Something I didn't expect though is how early the bar part of he sports bar closes. On embarkation night I could get some food 15 minutes after midnight but the bar was already closed down. So only soda cans available.

Hello Michael,

thank you so much for your Live-Review!

I feel like I'm already on board now!

Have you met Edgardo (from the Mojito Bar on the Star in June) yet?

Thanks again,

Monika

Hi Monika

Yes he is here and working at the casino bar. As the casino is closed until we reach Ushuaia he is now helping out in different bars.

Thank you so much for doing this review! We will be on this cruise in reverse in a couple months. I also would really like to know if we can find taxi drivers near the port in Chacabuco to hire to take us to see the beautiful scenery and would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know what you find out when you stop there. In the meantime, keep enjoying your wonderful trip.

thanks for posting. Did you do a ship or private tour? how was it?

NCL shore excursions all the time. I know they do not get a lot of credit here but I actually enjoy it especially in tender ports like today.

The tour was called Petrohue falls and lake Esmeralda. The catamaran cruise on the lake was nice, the water falls less stunning Han expected but that might be due to the fact that after the last earthquake not all viewing points are accessible.

Overall a solid good tour but I expected more.

Love your photos. Thanks for the Freestyle Daily. Lots of things I'd like to do there, after my day in port! And name that tune Motown. I might actually know the names of some of those songs. Love Motown! Great to hear about your tour.

Nice! Love your photos! Did you purchase the unlimited internet package? Thoughts on the Internet onboard. I'm trying to decide whether to purchase it or not.

Thanks. Yes I did although I hate to do it with his price tag. I use it mainly on my iPhone so the speed is not so much an issue as there are no minutes ticking down.

I just noticed that the speed varies greatly. The earlier post with just 6 pictures to upload took around 20 minutes while drinking at a bar. At other times it is reasonable fast though.
