Love those "Love Boat" toots.

Wonder if the people sailing on the Regal and Royal love them as much as some of us do?

Last month our family was on the Celebrity Summit. In St. Maarten we were docked directly across from the Regal Princess, and since our room was starboard and facing the Regal, we invited our kids and their spouses for sailaway drinks and canapes. l knew that the horns played the Love Boat theme, but no one else did. While the Regal was still tied up at the dock the horns played, and the reaction from the Summit was amazing. Not only did our guests on the balcony break into applause and waving, but it seemed that everyone on the Summit did so as well. The Regal passengers reciprocated with lots of laughter and waving, and apparently the officer in charge of horn blowing decided that it was worth doing again. Two minutes later the horns sounded again, and this time the response from the Summit passengers was even louder.

That was a fun sailaway for everyone, complements of Princess!

We were also in a port with either the Regal or Royal and the same thing happened.

Everyone was cheering and screaming for more.
