AWillie Posted February 8, 2016 #28 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I am using a iPad and site is still not fixed. I called them and was advised to delete all web history and cookies. I hate to throw out the cookies that identify me on 10 or 15 web sites just to take care of princess and IT incompetence
Astro Flyer Posted February 8, 2016 #29 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I am using a iPad and site is still not fixed. I called them and was advised to delete all web history and cookies. I hate to throw out the cookies that identify me on 10 or 15 web sites just to take care of princess and IT incompetence Apparently those cookies on our computers are in conflict with the new version of their website & I too wish it wouldn't be necessary to delete my current cookies. :(

I hate to throw out the cookies that identify me on 10 or 15 web sites just to take care of princess and IT incompetence I am on an iPad also. When I get to the messed up Princess site, I just reload the page and all is good. Have you tried that? Hope it works for you!

Alaskanb Posted February 8, 2016 #32 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I have a Macbook and use Chrome. Finally have the site working after clearing cookies and cache, closed and reopened Chrome then logging back in to Princess.
jennybenny Posted February 8, 2016 #33 Share Posted February 8, 2016 It will grow on me. Change is always difficult. I don't like it, but that's because I was comfortable with the old one. I did have to delete my cookies and try logging in after to get the website to properly load, but in due time, I will be as comfortable with the new site as I was with the old site. Mackenzie1 Posted February 9, 2016 #34 Share Posted February 9, 2016 I had a similar problem this past weekend with the Princess website on IE. When I opened it up, a blue funky page appeared. The website opened up fine in Firefox. What worked was to delete browser history and cookies in IE, reboot, and the problem was solved.
yoyosma Posted February 9, 2016 #35 Share Posted February 9, 2016 Thanks Liz - that worked for me too using Chrome. You are welcome Doug, I'm glad it worked for you. So much easier than deleting cookies. :)

I hate to throw out the cookies that identify me on 10 or 15 web sites just to take care of princess and IT incompetence I'm pretty sure the problem is stale stylesheets. Shift-Reload worked for me. Next step will be to clear history and delete temporary internet files. It is the temporary files that I think are causing the problems. You really shouldn't need to delete your cookies. cynbar Posted February 9, 2016 #38 Share Posted February 9, 2016 I have a Macbook Air and was also getting the dreaded blue screen using Safari. Refreshing the page didn't work for me but deleting my cookies did. Thanks for all the tips.
