Is dry cleaning available on the Westerdam?

Just wondering if dry cleaning is available onboard. DH will wear his suit pants to dinner each night if it is.

If you send out your dry cleaning early in the morning, usually it comes back later in the afternoon.

Sometimes it took 2 days for DH to get back his slacks.

Dry cleaning is available and they do a very good job.

I have had many garments cleaned while on board. :)

I almost always had the clothing back by next day.

The "stuff a bag for $20" is offered daily, so not really a "special". Just a good deal. Some lines don't offer their version very often, but HAL does.

Again -- if you get it sent out early in the morning, you may get it back by early evening. Otherwise you will get your laundry back the next day.

You can check off whether you want everything folded or on hangers.

Be careful what you send out to the laundry. If you have something that is delicate and needs special washing -- don't send it out.

Also take pictures of what you send out -- that way if something is missing, you can describe it.

Laundry service is very good. HAL does offer cruise specials. This is a one time cruise rate for laundry. Dry cleaning I believe is not part of the specials. However they also offer pressing as well if the suit just needs a spruce up.

I was referring to the unlimited laundry rate you can get on the first or second day of your cruise. You pay a one-time fee for unlimited laundry. Of course you can pay as you go as well, but usually we opt for the one-time rate and send our laundry as need. Works great! Many people have also discussed this on CC.
