I lied ... with my post earlier today!

Where / how can i go online & see or confirm that the OBC offered by my Travel Agent when I booked is showing up on my Princess Account? I can't seem to figure out how to do that?

Go to the Princess cruise personalizer and select Payment & Credits. If the OBC is part of a T.A. promo then it will show there. However, many times a T.A. provides OBC as "gifted" OBC. In that case it will not show on line in the payments and credit section. You may receive a notice in your cabin that the T.A. provided you with the OBC, or it may just show up in your on board account. In both cases check your on board account on the first day to see that all the OBC's are there. The passenger service does have the ability to contact the T.A. if needed.

I agree with "sknight" - most TA onboard credits don't show up online pre-cruise. Make sure you print out whatever correspondence you have from the TA that shows the OBC and take it with you. Then, if it doesn't show up on your onboard account by the 2nd day, take it with you and talk to passenger services. We've never had to take that step - it has always shown up without any issue.

I have AUD$68.75 showing as On Board Credit. I received AUD$55 for my inconvenience when my original cruise was cancelled "For Operational Reasons" and there's an extra AUD$13.75, nearly the price of a Cocktail here in Australia, extra. Pretty certain it's from the TA, my cousins don't know my booking number, and to my knowledge, if they are gifting me On Board Credit, they would need this number. I am a Blue Card holder, so could be wildly wrong with the last presumption. 1 friend has already told me she's sending money over to me to take with me, "To Treat Yourself-Casino, Specialty Dining, Cocktails, Lotus Spa, Internet or Gift Services-YOU choose what you want. If you want to put a little bit towards paying for many different experiences rather than 1 Special Experience, that's your choice."

First of all, any gifts from friends (or even from yourself to yourself) will not show up in the Personalizer. This is because the gifts are assumed to be a surprise that will greet you on board. It would be nice if there was an option when buying a gift to indicate whether or not it is to be a surprise, but that option is not there.

Second, someone giving a gift does not have to know your booking number. Knowing which ship on what date along with your name is sufficient. Of course it is easier if a cabin number or booking number is provided, but it is not necessary
