Bon Voyage! If you use too much MB on your internet plan, they will let you buy 500MB for $11. Every time i got low, they prompted me to buy more. Just remember to refresh your connection before 30 minutes are up or you could lose all your hard work. Every time I hit submit reply on CC, I hopped over and refreshed my connection if I was under 15 minutes. Have a slice on pizza for me! (And, maybe a glass of wine :o). :D:D

Your pictures are stunning! What are you using and how did you add/edit to get on this forum. The reason I ask is I'm not very good at doing pics or posting. I booked the Europe/Transatlantic MSC Seaside for 11/17 and want to start at least semi live picture review and I love the way you do it. Still waiting for more of your review. Thank you!

Thanks Ctrinh225 for the nice comments. . . I use several Cameras for my "LIVE" Posts. . . Including a Sony DSC H10, GoPro Hero 4, and my LG G4 Smartphone. I usually post all photos to my server, that post the url here when I create a post. I also use Tapatalk for Images and Videos because I can post while on the fly.

Hi Radio,

As always, thanks for all of your outstanding efforts. I'm very impressed with the ship photos, and we may consider sailing on MSC Divina. I'm looking forward to your updates. Have a wonderful Cruise !

Hi Radio,

My DH and I are also D+ on RCL and recently got the MSC status match to Black Level for our upcoming cruise on MSC Divina in Jan., 2017. This will be our first MSC cruise.

Do you know if the status match is permanent or a one-time deal? There has been some speculation about that here on the boards, but nobody seems to know for sure.

We are certainly grateful for it whichever it turns out to be.

Looking forward to your review, thanks so much!

I know you have to take at least one cruise in the first 3 yrs to keep your status. Other than that, I'm not sure what happens.

Hi Radio!

Thanks for the live review! We almost sailed on Divina next Saturday, but instead we're going on the Grandeur next Saturday! The Zika virus is keeping my pregnant daughter out of Caribbean waters :(

Wishing you and your friends fair seas and following winds!

The Empress looks so tiny!!!

Thanks for taking the time to take us along. I feel like i'm on a b2b now!

Enjoy!

Cheryl

Good morning Mark, hope you are enjoying a great cup of coffee in those great full size coffee cups.

And they are ceramic coffee cups -- not plastic. :D

Thanks, Radio, for taking the time once again to post *Live* reports. Your reports are always fantastic!

Hello everyone, good morning. Welcome to DAY 2 of “LIVE” from MSC Divina.

I had to set my watch back 1 hour last night because we are doing Western Caribbean. I slept like a baby last night, even with terrible pillows . . . The mattress was fine but the pillows were . . . um. . .not fine.

I ate dinner last night in the Calumet Buffet because I did not want miss SailAway. The selections were plentiful, and the selections of food were served hot. I had some fish and pasta. The desserts were wonderful as well. I may have stopped at the Piazza del Doge for some delicious Gelati.

My thoughts about the buffet are much different than the reviews I have read. The only problem I had was that the buffet was packed. The trays emptied quickly but the chefs were constantly changing out the entrees and sides. . .

I stopped into Casino Veneziano for a bit and it was very “Radio Friendly” The Casino seemed a little small for a ship this size, but there are lots of games, and you are able to use your room card from the machines for credits.

I like the way that the MSC Daily Program explains Divina’s transit for the day: “We will cruise throughout the day in the Old Bahamas Channel on a South-Easterly course with the island of Cuba visible on the starboard side of the ship. At approximately 9PM we will pass the eastern most point of the island, “Punta Maisi”, assuming a South-Westerly course towards Ocho Rios. Distance from Miami to Ocho Rios: 718 Nautical miles.”

Here are a few pics of this morning. . . Thanks for tuning in.

Radio----I am loving all your pics and review! I have never sailed this line, but after seeing this ship, I may just have to try it! I have cruised Carnival and RCCL, and have a cruise in January 2017 on Norwegian Getaway, my first time on that line. My husband and I got the "cruise bug" years ago on our first cruise for our 25th Anniversary in 1995, and have been sailing since, sometimes with our family members.

I can't wait to view the rest if your review! Happy sailing!

One advantage of a packed buffet is that the food is a lot fresher due to the constant turnover.

Hi Radio, if I can't be cruising, I'm glad to see that you are because I always ENJOY your "LIVE" reviews. I've been thinking of branching out from Celebrity and trying MSC so I'm looking forward to your comments and observations. Have a great cruise !!!

I could spend all day between these two places. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet and the rest of the time on the open deck. This is why I love to cruise....to "see" the "sea".

Your review and pictures are just awesome so far. Can't wait for the rest of the story......;)

Looks like the sea is being really kind. Just beautiful. Getting more excited for my cruise in Aug.

Gwen :)
