In the Top sail lounge, are the drinks free all day or just at certain times. Also, is there a separate pool/sunning area for Yacht club members...Is there lobster on the YC menu? I know that in the regular restaurant it is served on day 6...

Can you get Latte's in the YC Lounge and are they included in the all inclusive drink price while in the YC? Is there a coffee maker/ latte machine in the suite? Can you tell I have a problem with coffee??!! ;)

Yes annie,,any type of coffee drink is available in the YC and is included. MSC Divina does not have a coffee machine in the staterooms, but MSC Seaside will have Nespresso machines in all YC suites.:D

Can somebody, anybody, please tell me if alcohol-removed wine is served on the Divina? Thanks so much!

I have searched every MSC bar menu and haven't found any non-alcoholic wine. There is a chance it may exist however,,,:)

Thanks so much Mike. You just made my day (and my cruise!). I have really enjoyed reading your posts and wealth of expertise on this board. You have been instrumental in the majority of my research. Thank you again!

Nightclubs:

There were tons of nightclubs on the ships. AND unlike other lines with empty lounges, if there was a lounge or a club, there was entertainment in it. EVERY NIGHT.

Another of my fave places, The Golden:

Not only that but when you are in MY LOUNGE (haha...the Top Sail) they serve a dainty chocolate with your latte or cappuccino!

In the process of taking an upgrade to the Yacht Club for the June 25th sailing. Enjoying this review. Any perks for getting on and off the ship in ports and could you get a list of the wines available at dinner?

Ok, you are going to LOVE getting off the ship. Especially on tender days. Carlos took us down, escorted us and I don't know where this was or how we got there, but we were in a private exit area on the ship and we got the very first tender. He walked off the ship with us in Jamaica to explain where we needed to go. If you tell your butler you want an escort, you get one.

Nothing can be done about getting BACK on ship. Same as any other cattle call.

I don't have a list of wines... it's funny, they say Prosecco, Red, White or Rose and you get what you get. There is no wine list.

I will say that every wine I had was delicious.

How is the dress in the Yacht Club? Must you be "formal" all the time?

I'll jump in on this one since it seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.

Dress in Yacht Club is not formal at all. You can wear whatever you would wear in any other parts of the ship. You don't even need a jacket or tie for dinner, but people did dress "casual chic" for dinners. :)

I LOVED my cruise on MSC. After doing the Yacht Club, I don't know that I could do anything else on this brand.

I'd love to do a group with everyone. At the end of my review I will talk a bit about the webinar I attended about MSC and what's happening. It's exciting. :)

They had better dress chicly for Le Muse or they won't be allowed in. A woman in a bathing suit was turned away at lunch one day.

Mike, thanks for looking for the alcohol-removed wine. I appreciate your efforts!

I asked a passenger currently onboard MSC Divina to find out for me. He had asked the beverage manager and MSC Divina does not serve any non-alcoholic wine onboard,,,:(

That's disappointing about the alcohol-removed wine, but thanks so much for checking. I know I can't carry any on-board, so I will survive with the n/a beer and other drinks. I just like to have a glass of wine with dinner, but all is good. Thanks again!

I would try to bring some onboard. Maureen wa able to bring a small box of wine onboard with her back in May,,,:)

Valancy1 can you check to see if the MSC fragrance diffuser is available in the gift shop?

I have had someone check for me just about every week annie and so far no luck. I've gone as far as checking e-bay with no luck there as well.:( I had asked Jeff Herzfeld from MSC about the diffuser and he was going to check but no reply back from him either,,,:(:(

We loved the YC and won't consider MSC unless we are in it. Absolutely, a wonderful experience, but once we left its friendly confines, we were less impressed with the MSC experience.

Valency, thanks for the excellent pictures, but some of them reminded me of what I didn't like, the 1970s color scheme, for example.

That's very disappointing, guess it's b/c we weren't on your cruise :p

Seriously though, when you say you were "less impressed", may I ask what you're referring to? Was it just the décor or the crew or the food...? Just wondering since we aren't in YC for our first MSC cruise so....

BTW those things aren't especially important to me/us... the décor, hey it's for a week, on a cruise, on a, what most feel will be a beautiful ship, with enough food we won't starve even it's not Swiss Chalet (j/k)

Anyway, guess it'll be what it'll be or what we make be :p

I think everybody has an entitlement to their own opinion, however, I thought it was the most beautiful **** I have ever been on! I loved the way the ship did not have a straight narrow path to go down but rather a nice winding curving Street per se. I can't wait to come back on Divina. We ate lunch and often breakfast in the main buffet and not Le Muse. The only part that annoyed me was we were with a bunch of European people, and they approach lines and buffets differently than Americans do. The food however was fine and lived up to my expectations. In fact, I did not find the food in my news to be any better than what we might've had on the buffet or in the main dining room. It was very good there is no doubt about that, but I did not find it extraordinary like something from Charlie Trotter's in Chicago or something along that line.

I agree! Everyone was very well-dressed although not overly formal for dinner in Le Muse. I don't know that it is no dress code. In fact, in your newspaper that is in your cabin each night the dress code is spelled out for your dining. And furthermore, unlike the Haven a Norwegian Cruise lines, if you do not have a yacht club card, you cannot enter under any circumstance. Not even to visit, not even as a guest of the yacht club member
