How to get Casino Rate

Recommended Posts

My friend plays alot of slots and has been on one cruise (last Fall). She would like to find out if she qualifies for a casino rate. Who and how to contact would be helpful.

She would have had to have been rated and extended an invitation to join Casino Royal on her last cruise to qualify for the special rates.

The Casino Royale program is in a bit of a flux right now. There have been reports of players who are not part of Casino Royale getting offers via email or through regular mail.

If your friend had their card in the machines while playing, there is a chance they may have some history. I would have your friend call Casino Royale and check. The number is 888-561-2234. There can be significant savings and worst case scenario is they say no. Good luck!

I'm not a huge better, but have been on more than a few RCCL cruises. I am usually at the craps table from the time I finish dinner until late into the night. (I usually play the pass, odds, the inside and the hardways.) I wouldn't even know there WAS a casino program if not for Cruise Critic. I guess I'm just a little fish.

I was on a 10 day cruise in April and played 3 card poker every day; probably for an average of at least 5 hours a day (I was very lucky). On the 9th evening, the Casino Host came up to me and handed me an envelope offering a free ocean view room cruise. The letter contained around 40 cruises to choose from. If I didn't want to go on one listed, they offered me $750 off a cruise of my choice which I'm using in August. When I called the number on the letter, the guy I spoke with explained that yes, I was now a member of the Casino Royale program and by showing my sea pass card in the casino, I was entitled to free drinks while gaming.

I kept the phone number and called to see if they could give me a deal for a cruise in January, they gave me an excellent price; around $1500 off a cruise for 3.

Bottom line is that it appears they have to "invite" you to be a member.

This site is awesome. I just called this number and they said I was rated. I asked why I was not notified and they said they didn't have my email address. They had the wife email, who books the cruises but she was not rated as she does. Not play. I play table games, Craps and Roulette.

The Casino Royal lady was super nice. Because of my rating, we were able to save almost 50% on one cruise we booked online and she gave me a code to pass on to my TA for the others. She said we would save a significant amount of money for my play time. She said we get more discount based on the room type and ship. We generally book GS but this one was a Superior Bal and we are wait listed for GS.

THANK YOU for the phone number.

You have to play for a LONG time, and bet quite a bit of money to be "invited"...

Don't know if that is still true. I am a $10 blackjack better for a couple of hours per day. I received about $1300 off of recently booked cruises through the casino program.

There is no longer a CR VIP program with members.

Anyone can now get free cruises and huge discounts.

To qualify all you have to do is make one wager in the casino and you can receive CR offers.

It is no longer an exclusive invitation only membership.

Old CR VIP Members are no longer recognized by their gambling history and loyalty over the past 15 years.;) or are they:D

There is no qualifying anymore, no minimum bet, no duration of time needed.

Just drop a quarter in the slip and slide machine and you might get $200 off your next cruise.

Happy Days!

I am glad this worked out for you. I enjoy cruising in suites and have received some great sailing rates.

I have been receiving offers from casino (snail mail and email) to sail free OV or $750 off for balcony or above. I never signed up in casino so they must be looking at my overall amount of play. I played every day ending the week $800 ahead.

have not taken advantage of the offers yet.

After a 10 day cruise in March of 2015, playing Blackjack for a few hours each evening, I was asked to join Casino Royale VIP by a casino host on the last night of the cruise. I was given some paperwork to fill in some personal information, and was asked to contact Casino Royale a few weeks after we returned to verify that I was in the system. It was the same phone number listed earlier in this thread.

After a few weeks passed, I called Casino Royale and I was given a players number. At that time they were offering cash rebates based on play, but as mentioned earlier, the program was in flux and the rebate was supposed to be used by March 15th of 2016. Since none of the cruises on Royal Caribbean fit my schedule, I was able to book a Celebrity cruise right before the deadline and redeem my rebate at the cage in the casino since there are arrangements between the casino programs for both cruise lines.

Fast forward to May. My wife and I had a cruise booked next March but needed to move it due to work obligations. I had been reading about the Suite Class program and was interested in booking our first Crown Loft Suite on the Allure, moving our trip ahead to May of 2016. Looking online, the cost was still a little higher than I would have liked. Then I thought to call Casino Royale as they had mentioned about booking through them as most often they could beat most listed prices.

Well the price they quoted was outstanding, so I asked if a Sky Loft was available for the same cruise (Star Class), and the price quoted was almost 50% off the price listed online even adding my dad as third person in the room. I booked immediately, and now counting the days until the trip.

Out of interest but were you able to get casino rates for celebrity as well?

Thinking of doing another X sailing.

Just returned from the Freedom.

We are minimal slot players. We may play for an hour a day but play the minimal (30-50 cent bet.). We managed to put 400 points on the sea pass card. (Just enough to get a t shirt and a few key rings. In other words, low by real player standards ). I learned there is a new program that at 400 points I was eligible for $100 off a future cruise. Apparently, they track the play and we had a certificate waiting in the cabin the last night. No max play needed. We've played at about the same level for other cruises, and never received anything.

There are some restrictions and lots of fine print on the certificate. I hope it works out.

Been a while, do I need to bring cash or quarters for the machines or is it all linked to the seapass?

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Cash is used in the casino. You can go to the cage and withdraw cash from your sea pass account, but unless you are a Casino Royale VIP member, there will be a 5% charge.

Are you kidding me? My craps bets usually run $50 per roll, and I play that at least a couple of hours a day PLUS blackjack at $5 - $20 per hand, and have never been rated. You all are killing me here! Now I'm feeling the need to call and see if maybe I am, but they didn't have MY email address. :o

On your last cruise had the electronic trackers been installed on the blackjack tables (where your sea pass card is swiped each time you come to the tables)? That is now how your play in monitored. Prior to installation you pretty much had to be noticed by the host or you would have had to ask to be tracked.

Hi Bob,

Good to see you. Yep, I'm never a whale, only a guppy in the casino. But after last years cruise I guess they thought we were there enough. I got an offer for a free cruise (and you KNOW i couldn't pass that up, sadly hubby had to). This year, I got a $125 off a cruise. Funny thing is my mom plays way more than I do and she called and they said she didn't play enough. Go figure. Interestingly enough, hubby doesn't get the offers either. Either way, I'll take the deals if they'll keep offering them, and i can take advantage them. :D
