About $1m for Newie terminal

Recommended Posts

I thought I read somewhere that the Chinese had bought the port. Perhaps they will build a big pagoda.

They have but I think it's limited to the cargo side of operations.

If they are going to homeport Ovation of the Seas in Singapore for 6 mths, they could build a facility to handle a ship of that size , and homeport her in Newy.. for the other 6 mths.

It would be better if it was 6 months in Sydney and 6 months in Newcastle.:D

We get some large ships in to the port. Queen Elizabeth was here this year and she was pretty big.

Not to mention the huge coal ships as well.

BTW has P&O lifted it's ban over no decent terminal?

I thought P&O were here last season.

By the way, given some discussion further up thread I love your location.
