Carnival Nude Cruise

 Share

Recommended Posts

I saw a nude cruise on the roll calls for the Carnival Pride while searching for my roll call on the Pride......im glad mine is far past that one but does anyone else get grossed out over that? I mean how well can they clean the deck chairs? Linens can be washed but it just bothers me. Not everyone is clean and disease free and we know things come out. So lets hear your thoughts

Not bothered in the least, and I'm on the cruise after there's. They know how to handle it. Nothing to be grossed out about.. Honestly.. I feel sorry for the crew that has to deal with the guests. Most of the crew come from very modest (in this way) background. I hope they tip well.

While I have absolutely no interest in said cruise, I would not be concerned in the least or "grossed out" over boarding the very next one after.

Simply wearing clothing in no way makes one clean or disease free.

I wonder, does the crew have an option of not sailing on a nude cruise?

[QUOTE=riffatsea;50729283]It is obvious that you know nothing about nudists or their culture or about disease!

Learn a little before you post!

i believe i stated most people are clean and no need to get your hair on end....it was just a question. i am very clean and disease free but would not expect someone to lie down on the clamshell seats on the serenity deck after i sat naked on it....so being you think im dumb fill me in instead of being negative

<sigh> Would have gladly answered a question if you asked one but you made a negative statement so I didn't feel like educating you!

Typically one sits or lays down on a towel or blanket and not directly on a chair.

BTW there's a nude beach at the Jersey shore too.

Yes i know Sandy Hook. I apologize as i didnt want it to be mean but just wanted to be educated......because actually sitting on the seat itself would be gross.

If you're scared of sitting where naked people have sat, you must never use hotels. Or public toilets for that matter. Diseases don't get passed around that way mate. You think nothing of putting your butt on a hotel chair where hundreds of naked butts have been, or putting your face down on a deck chair where someone's snotty face has possibly been minutes before, but someone someone wearing slightly less clothing than a bathing suit on a deck chair days before you is a health crisis? You're either a troll or very silly. If it's the latter you need to examine the hangup you have about nude people and the assumption that you're going to get a disease from them somehow.

I have clothes on when i sit on Hotel room chairs and toilet seats are non-absorbent and get cleaned. But i guess you sit on them naked....ok then

In my old Windjammer Days I sailed on some cruises prior/after some chartered nude cruises. Pallets of bleach were brought on for the cruise. The crew said after the initial shock, it truly did not bother them.

Also it is naturalist etiquette that you always have a towel or some type of garment to sit on. Most naturalists are more concerned with cleanliness for obvious reasons.

What was funny to me was my conversation with the Captain of the Windjammer ... "I guess it must be easier for the crew with less luggage to load. ". Captains response was " they bring more luggage than clothed people... they like their accessories" ... by this he meant costumes, jewelry, sheer clothing etc

Deck chairs are non-absorbent too bud.

This prudish post is so funny coming from someone with the graphic in your signature. You know what those four feet signify, right?

Oh well. Don't worry about nude people. They are everywhere. Some just a small wisp of clothing away. They're not going to infect you with things or otherwise harm you. Honestly. If it really bothers you to your soul, cruise another line that never allows naked people, I guess.

I love Carnival and am sure other lines do it too...by the way though not a disease you can catch crabs from seating. but two others cleared it up for me instead of being a wiseguy or wisegal. this is why i left this site for years. No i didnt know the feet was having sex on the balcony.....lol

I am sailing on the pride prior to this one; and think there are a few cruiser doing a back to back ..

As for being gross out.. it is there business... And sure they are clean if not cleaner than people with clothes.

I am so sure many of us use "public bathrooms; open those doors with our hands (I use paper towel to shut the water off after washing my hands and opening the door)

The computers has more germs than anything.. your sea card..

the elevator buttons and so on..

This cruise is no different than a "family," "gay," casino or what ever theme.

You either go or stay home..
