Martinis included in the UBP?

You can see the current Martini Bar menu and the list of spirits in this post.

The menu is all weird cocktails served in a martini glass. If you want a classic martini, just tell them what brand of gin(/vodka) you want and how you want it prepared.

Wow!!! Cosmos are $17.95!!

Note that the Cosmo is listed as being made with Ciroc - I'd have to think if you asked for a Grey Goose Cosmo it should be less, but knowing how NCL seems lately they probably still charge the BS inflated price of $17.95 .....

I am more and more regretinng not cancelling my Epic sailing and just eating the non-refundable air I had in conjunction with it :(

A regular Cosmopolitan is included. The french kiss martini is also included and pretty tasty. I was very disappointed that the chocolate martini and espresso martini are NOT included. I wasn't opposed to paying the difference but it seems absurd that martinis are $17.95. I wonder if those without UBP are buying any of these crazy-priced drinks.

It reads "20% discount with ultimate beverage package" at the bottom of the Martini Menu? That would bring the cost below the maximum amount allowed per drink.

Pretty sure that is just refering to the flight of 6 mini martini's

Yes, it's just for the martini flight. Of course they don't give UBP holders 20% off the entire menu, that wouldn't make any sense at all. The prices are artificially inflated specifically because most people have the UBP. They should give a discount to people who don't have the UBP.

Basic martinis of course are included! They are fairly cheap drinks to make! If you want something special or pricey, you will pay extra for it...Just ask for a martini...and you will get it!

Really??? Have you actually done this??? This would be great!!

I ordered vanilla vodka shaken with Baileys. Then ordered a snifter of Godiva choc liqueur. Poured the choc in- voila- that chocolate martini was included! It was really silly the way some drinks were priced $17.95

That's the way!!!!!!! Lemonade from lemons....

That's what I was talking about above when I said you could order a classic martini. If you want it with a "call" or "premium" gin, it's no extra charge. If you want it with a "super premium" brand, you pay the difference over $15.

Basically, ask for whatever you want. They'll tell if you they can make it, and how much it will cost you (if anything).

I drank Tito's Martinis every night on our recent trip on the Escape. Didn't pay one cent for drinks on the entire cruise. They need a better vermouth though. They use Cinzano and it's awful. Need to use Martini and Rossi. The drink is named after the guy.

We were on the POA a couple of years ago, back when drinks were a reasonable price, or at least more in line with other cruise lines, and each after noon about 4 or 4:30 they had a happy hour, on Martini's. Seems like they were buy one get one half price plus a dollar, or something like that. Does anyone know if they still have something like that?

A Cosmo is included. A ciroc Cosmo will cost you extra. Simply order it with a vodka included in your package . As in when you go to the bar, say bid like an absolute cosmopolitan . Many of the expensive drinks are made with super premium liquors, just replace if you can.

The chocolate martini is trickier if you'd like it all shaken, chilled and mixed together with the pretty chocolate rim but you can certainly order ingredients separately for one giant one:eek::eek:

Thanks for this info. Have the package and love a Cosmo or (only on NCL) a French Kiss. Not a big drinker but I like what I like :).

Yes....had both a Grey Goose vodka martini (olives-dirty) and a Tagurey Gin martini (olives-dirty). Both were included in the UBP. Both quite tasty.

Didn't see any extra charges for Cosmos.

Just tell the bartender what to make the martini with, and you'll be fine.

$17.95 Martini? Another ripoff on NCL!

If you don't want to pay a $2.95 up charge for a martini, suffer through with a Bombay Safire gin martini, or Grey Goose Cosmo, or God forbid, a Maker's Mark Manhattan. And try to enjoy your cruise despite the onerous, spawn of satin evil targeted at you by NCL.
