wblee Posted October 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2016 In april on Aurora it was £15 per person, there were items which would have attracted an extra cost, we didn't order any but the food was extremely tasty. The Beachhouse was £5 and the lava rock steak is fabulous. Have a good cruise. Bill Lee

Clodia Posted October 3, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I think they've only just raised the Sindhu price; I paid £15 each for our next cruise as I booked on Personaliser ages ago.

On Aurora for 19 nights next month and according to cruise personaliser it is £16 for Sindhu. Perhaps Britannia has more demand for tables being a bigger ship. I don't remember Sindhu being a particularly big restaurant on Britannia.

Cruise Puss Posted October 4, 2016 #13 Share Posted October 4, 2016 I believe that the price of any of the select dining restaurants on any of the ships depends on how long your cruise is. The shorter the cruise, the more money it is; the longer the cruise, the less money it is. Not sure why, but probably for them to make more money. It always has been like that as seen im my post#3 but recently for cruises of 8+days Britannia, Ventura and Azura the price for Sindhu has risen to £20pp while others to £16pp.
sapphire4 Posted October 9, 2016 #15 Share Posted October 9, 2016 Just off the Britannia today. Sindhu has changed its menus and is amazing. The cost was £20 for an evening meal but on the first night there was a reduction of a third. Excellent value. They also offer a lunch time menu on some sea days. Jennizor Posted October 14, 2016 #17 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Just back last Sunday from Britannia, we booked in advance and paid £15 per head. Well worth it, it was fantastic. Enjoy.
Cruise Puss Posted October 15, 2016 #18 Share Posted October 15, 2016 I know that the menu's have always been dependent on how long the cruise is. My husband and I were on Azura's Maiden voyage, and, in fact, Nashta, which now is only offered on sea days, was available every day on that first voyage. The Retreat also had hot lunches, not just cold, which were lovely, and you could easily get a day pass in to The Retreat from the first day on board. How things have changed, and not for the better. Shame. :(
mickey89 Posted October 15, 2016 #19 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Just back last Sunday from Britannia, we booked in advance and paid £15 per head. Well worth it, it was fantastic. Enjoy. P&O keep raising their prices, they have done it twice this year already. I booked Britannia Sindhu in August for a December Cruise - cost £16/pp Now the same reservation for the same cruise costs £20/pp Any doubters goto https://ask.pocruises.com/help/PO/life-on-board/cover_charges
