Harmony- Enclosed area in front of first lifeboats

Does anybody know what the enclosed area in front of the first lifeboat is on Harmony? It looks like it is along the walking track, where the first lifeboat is on Oasis and where it is just open on Allure.

Does anybody know what the enclosed area in front of the first lifeboat is on Harmony? It looks like it is along the walking track, where the first lifeboat is on Oasis and where it is just open on Allure.

These are areas where guests can stretch and exercise, and enjoy the view of the sea.

There was nothing there in early June. When we were back in August they had some lounge type seats there. Seems that they´ve added some deckchairs now.

 

It was supposed to be an outdoor area for the gym. Joggers should be able to do some stretching there. And I heard that they thought about gym classes like yoga there too. But for that you have to carry all the stuff (mats) down from the gym as there´s no storage. In August there were no scheduled activites held there.

I'm guessing eventually they'll figure out a way to put cabins there. :rolleyes:

We noticed that there were no chairs on deck 5 aft in June. But there were chairs there in August (see here for photos, scroll down).

We noticed that there were no chairs on deck 5 aft in June. But there were chairs there in August (see here for photos, scroll down).

Thank you steamboats, that's good news. I was disappointed with the absence of chairs when I was there back on June. Things are improving.
