Yes. :)

Our daughter and boyfriend did the BVE with us and each brought on a bottle of wine and left it with us.

I was told this could be done by the woman I booked their BVE with. :)

We were told that each of our guests could bring on a bottle of wine. However, the fact is, the BVE people boarded so early that Princess did not yet have staff there to man the "wine table". We stood at the table for several minutes wondering what to do and finally a person from the Port Authority told us that "they weren't here yet so just go on in". We were prepared to pay corkage on additional bottles that we were bringing on board but there was no one there to process the corkage fees for us. We did take a few of the bottles to the dining room during the cruise but the corkage charges were hit and miss in the dining room.

Nice to know. It will then double the ship's allowance.

I think you were lucky to get an answer you liked. This poster received less helpful BVE information:

I never asked the question. It was told to me. ;)

The BVE guest upon boarding are treated just like any other guest. One bottle per person.

Security screeners have no idea if you are sailing or BVE. It's security that finds the wine and sends you to the "table". One bottle each and you fly through. Done it 4 times now.

Actually, they do know as you have a big sticker on your clothing that says, "BVE." :) Regardless, even BVE passengers can each carry a bottle onboard.

In Ft. Lauderdale, you go through security screening, and the

liquor check before you check in, so you haven't received the

sticker yet.

However, at the liquor table, they have asked my cabin number

and marked off my free bottles -- so they can charge me if I

come back later with more.

There is no princess policy on BVE guests bring liquor.

No one has ever been able to post one.

It's just something so small that no one really cares.
