We were aboard Rotterdam VI for that cruise when she sailed into Rotterdam. It had been many years sinc e an HAL ship had sailed into Roteredam. . We remained for a post cruise stay in rottterdam !!!

 

It is a huge harb or and approaches through farm land. That was to this day one of the most memorable 'sail in's I ever experienced I got up at 3;45 .m., , so I would no miss any of it. My memories of that morning are ivvid and inc\redibly spdecial as I connedted, from my verandah with a Dutrch farm lady goinfg out to start her chores for the morning. I call it a 'moment in time' of my life.
