Jamericannn Posted November 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Anyone have any heads up information on when Horizon's schedule will be out? I hope their first cruise from a US port.
trvlgirlmq Posted November 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Should be in about 3 weeks (1st week of December) per what has been posted by John Heald.
Bellicheck Brain Trust Posted November 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2016 It will likely be doing the med first which is consistent with prior releases (Magic, Breeze, Vista). Personally, I am hoping they mix up the traditional med with either a baltic, norway, or something more exotic.

Although it is really weird that the ship is not showing up on any port schedules yet. Vista showed up about 7 weeks prior to being on sale. It's not even on Civitavecchia which is usually a good indicator of what is going to happen.

I asked several different management friends when I was on the Vista naming ceremony for a sleepover in New York on 11/4. Not a lot of info on the when but a couple of people hinted at Baltic cruises before coming over. The fact that two separate people mentioned this independently makes me think it is in the cards. That said, until I see it in print I won't truly believe it.

always_wright Posted November 19, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 19, 2016 Waiting with bated breath for itineraries to be released! I've been saving all year so I can book immediately. Hoped for Mediterranean but after looking at Baltic ports, that might be nice too!
SoloCroozer Posted November 19, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 19, 2016 We have sailed the Baltics before. Would really recommend them. St Petersburg is so close, why not throw in Russia too? Sent from my iPad using Forums

b_cruise Posted November 20, 2016 #10 Share Posted November 20, 2016 i can't wait!!! I'm going to book early cause I waited a couple weeks after the vista released the schedule, and the pricing climbed right away. BUT by the time we sailed (june) I believe the pricing for everyone even the first bookers had dropped, so early saver is a great way to book if you are sure. pamrose228 Posted November 20, 2016 #12 Share Posted November 20, 2016 JH on the Vista TA had a talk about the next couple of ships. He pretty much said CCL wants out of Med because of vat tax. He also asked about r/t from NYC to Iceland Dover and Ireland. Didn't say what ship but lots of people loved a rt cruise. Schoifmom Posted November 21, 2016 #13 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Personally, I'm hoping for a British Isles cruise!!
trvlgirlmq Posted November 21, 2016 #14 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Personally, I'm hoping for a British Isles cruise!! This would be our first choice as well. We are not that sure if we want to do Baltics so will have to sit down and really discuss if that is the only choice.
ImaginationCruiseBride Posted November 21, 2016 #15 Share Posted November 21, 2016 We are hoping they don't Med. right away. We really want to do an inaugural and a Baltic or British Isles, but really don't want to fly over for two cruises. Rare Roz Posted November 21, 2016 #17 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Good point about March. Cruises in Northern Europe are only during the summer months. Roz
