Relmal Posted November 28, 2016 #77 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Thank you for all the information! Hope your having a great time! If you get your hands on a teen cruise compass would love to see it. I know your not traveling with teens so if you can't no big deal! Thanks and happy cruising!:)

Foosguy Posted November 28, 2016 #79 Share Posted November 28, 2016 If you happen to walk by the actual Starbucks, can you take a picture of the prices. My favorite is white chocolate mocha. On allure and oasis you could use a Starbucks gift card to pay for the drinks, curious if harmony is the same. cubalinda Posted November 28, 2016 #80 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Thank you for the great information! I will be sailing on the Harmony of the Seas in early May and hope they get some of the bugs I have read about, out. Is there any way that you might be able to post the prices for the Specialty restaurants (dinner) as I can't seem to get a straight answer from RCL. Also; do you know if Johnny Rockets is complimentary for breakfast? Do you know the fee for Johnny Rockets lunch/dinner as well? Do you know if it is an all you can eat scenario there? (boy I sound like a glutton lol). Thanks very much.
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted November 28, 2016 #81 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Johnny rockets is free for breakfast, but a charge for lunch/dinner (I think $5.95) Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
cruisetimeforme Posted November 28, 2016 #82 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Thank you for posting the menus. Is there a charge to eat in Solarium Bistro and how do you make reservations, can they be made prior to boarding?
MrsKC08 Posted November 29, 2016 Author #83 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Thank you for posting the menus. Is there a charge to eat in Solarium Bistro and how do you make reservations, can they be made prior to boarding? Currently Solarium Bistro is complimentary, but I've been told that there will be a time that a fee will be charged. We were able to make our reservations through our cruise planner when I made all our other reservations. Lynn & Ken

I tried tonight but they didn't come out well. I did ask about if they take the gift cards and I was told that they do, even the ones on your phone. MrsKC08 Posted November 29, 2016 Author #86 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Tonight we had dinner at Sabor and it was a great tonight as it was yesterday. We had reservations for the Aqua show tonight but both shows were canceled due to weather. They were automatically rescheduled. I must say though that for a sea day, we were a little disappointed in the activities around the ship. We did have our cruise critic meet n mingle and true to form there were probably less than 40 in attendance, but over 100 signed up prior to the cruise. We spent a little time in the Casino...no winnings for us though. Lynn & Ken
MrsKC08 Posted November 29, 2016 Author #87 Share Posted November 29, 2016 I have to say that I thought that the Bionic bar would be a thing to see once and then the glamour would ware off, however we have learned that the drinks from here are stronger than any other bar. I guess he cause it's computerized to make the recipe as written, and not by eye like the bartender does! One disappointment though, we created our own drink mix and it was fantastic. When we went back to make it again they were having problems with some of the mixers and we couldn't make it. For example, our drink called for Pineapple juice, but the pineapple function wasn't working. I asked the attendant at the bar and she said they hoped to fix it tonight. We'll see tomorrow if it is fixed. https://vimeo.com/193472599 Lynn & Ken
canadakath Posted November 29, 2016 #88 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Thanks for taking the time to post here! We are on Harmony in March, and were wondering what craft beers are available? Maybe post a menu from Boot & Bonnet if you are able? Thanks!
MrsKC08 Posted November 29, 2016 Author #89 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Today was day 3 and a relaxing day at sea. We had breakfast and lunch at mini bites and dinner at Sabor. Not much exciting to report today, but I've included the compass below. Lynn & Ken
MrsKC08 Posted November 29, 2016 Author #90 Share Posted November 29, 2016 I realize that it seems like the compasses might be hard to read from y photo uploads. I am saving them all and will scan them once I return home. Lynn & Ken
thjeepster Posted November 29, 2016 #91 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Enjoying your review so far! We will be coming aboard on Saturday as you are leaving. We can't wait for this cruise. It's been a rough 12 months with both our moms passing away at young ages. Mine last Nov and my gf's 3 weeks ago. It's been hard and hoping this cruise will give us need rest and relaxation. Who is your current headliner shows? Also are there any movies playing in the theater? Hope you are enjoying your time and love your review so far! heisnuts Posted November 29, 2016 #93 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Johnny rockets is free for breakfast, but a charge for lunch/dinner (I think $5.95) Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app We are onboard right now too, and I think it was actually $6.95 per person for lunch and dinner and that includes a soda if you do not already have the soda package and deserts. If you want to add a shake (which we did) it costs about $4 extra. We are only gold members, but the waitress said we have a buy one shake get one free so the $4 actually paid for both of our shakes. We went here for dinner on the formal night because we do not like to dress up and we were able to go in shorts and a nice shirt with no problem. We were actually the only ones in the restaurant at 6pm since most people walked out once they heard there was a cover charge. We personally thought the food was worth the cost, but the huge benefit was being able to get in when we wanted. This is the first cruise for us where almost every dining venue is booked by the first day of the cruise. I figured that once onboard a lot of reservations would open up, but that has not been the case. We are easy going people so it has not been a big deal, and we by no means have gone hungry. However, for those not as easy going, I can see a lot of future threads about how hard it is to get reservations and how that ruined the cruise. The other thing to note is that when you book a dinner reservation anywhere the system blocks out 2 hours for dinner so if you want to book a show anytime in that 2 hour window it will not let you even if one ends and starts at the same time (if you have a 6pm dinner reservation your show must start after 8:01). Again, for us it has not been a huge problem, but I am sure others would not agree with us. Sent from my iPad using Forums

It was easy to get in this morning for breakfast and we had no wait for lunch on Nassau day. Yesterday (sea day) there appeared to be a wait at lunch time. The new Trolls movie is playing in the theater. There are also movies on the Aquatheater screens Edited November 29, 2016 by Vacationahead

Klstaack Posted November 29, 2016 #99 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Was the specialty restaurant discount offered for your sailing....the promotion where if you book 5 nights its x amount of dollars...not a percentage off. I'm hopefully they will offer that promotion when we sail on Harmony in June. We booked our sip and stream package this week with the cyber Monday special. Yes, Royal does offer a three, four and five night dining package which is cheaper than if you book the restaurants separately. Lynn & Ken
