Either of these drink packages can be purchased prior to a cruise, and be delivered to a guest's stateroom.

A vodka, rye or scotch package would have been nice. I know they can't offer every thing but a basic selection would have been nice.

Will be interested to see how popular this is and if it gets rolled out fleet wide and with other options. I could see doing something like this, along with the 2 bottles of wine per room, and then just buy drinks ala carte the rest of the cruise.

Very interesting and surprising. This will cut into sales of the drink packages which I believe RCI's very high drinks prices are designed to push. Doesn't affect us, but looks like a great step in the right direction for others.

Smart move, read lots of post asking for booze in room, price is not to bad Bombay is a top shelf gin. Hal does same thing, but I will stick with drink package.

Only 4 drinks from a 13oz :eek:

 

13oz gets me roughly 8 drinks easily. so only $5 per drink for me:p

I see it listed on my Liberty cruise in April under gifts

A normal shot is 1.5 ounces. You should get 8.45 shots out of a 375 ml bottle. Add in the mixer and it does come do under a $5 a drink. Not a bad deal if one of those two packages is your drink of choice.
