J... that photo appeared! Lovely gent! Forums is available for android and i-devices. I don't have either one of those. There is an app apparently that allows some android applications to run on Windows - mostly games. Not sure if that app would allow me to run Forums on the Surface Pro. And I think tapatalk is the same.

M, I think what has happened there is that I downloaded the image from PB to my ipad then used forums to upload to CC. That app clearly adjusts the size of any image so that it is CC compliant.

 

Earlier I did all sorrts of things that worked but now doesn't.

Lois....sorry to hear that health issues continue to plague you! Hang in there! The specialist may have a relatively easy answer for you! Don't let your imagination run wild on this! And stay off the internet with regard to this! Continue to concentrate on your bright future!

 

Cam...I used to use Photobucket for storing and uploading my pictures. Smooth sailing until....they decided not to allow embedding of photos into 3rd party sites. Overnight, all the pictures have I posted here in the past disappeared. I was furious! I had signed up with them in good faith and they changed the rules. I have been searching for another way to post photos ever since. I think I will bite the bullet and go with smugmug. There is a fee and it seems like a reasonable charge. More considering to do. Thanks for your vote of confidence! :)

Oh Spins, I love formal nights. Usually we are invited to a hosted table and I am in my best behavior...apart from being in clothes and shoes I only get to wear when in a formal night in a cruise! I live in a semi-rural environment near Syracuse, NY, and no way can I find an excuse to wear formal. I was raised with formals...and I miss them!!!!! Enjoy your formals for me.

DH does not like formal.

He's a strikingly handsome tall man yet he doesn't like to dress up. He has a tux and White dinner jacket. No tails. But not like to wear any of it.

Oh well.

Well, my DH is not very happy to wear his tux either... but he humors me while in a SS cruise. If we do book on Seabourn next time, I'll have to compromise or look like out of the 1950's in a very laid-back, informal ambiance. Oh well...

Cam: It is truly inspiring to see how many folks with roots in PR, including entertainers, politicians, and others stepping up to help and get emergency supplies delivered........Even the Mexican Govt. and the Canadian Military are involved. My poor friend still has little cell service with her family. I hope you are having better luck.

SmugMug makes it easy to resize the images.

 

I upload them full-sized, approximately 4000x3000. When I click on the share icon to get a shareable link, I get to pick the size - anywhere from tiny (100x100) to XL (1600x1200). For CC, I usually pick 800x600, or 1024x768. Depending on the aspect ratio of the picture, your size options may vary slightly. For instance, my phone takes more rectangular photos so I choose 800x450 for that. But don't worry. It's automatic.

Argh, Lois. That's why I don't go to doctors! ;p They keep finding stuff that needs more investigation! I agree with the others; go see the Nephrologist. Maybe a fresh perspective will do the trick, and hopefully put everyone's mind at ease.

 

PS I like wearing my tux. Will be wearing it tomorrow to a formal dinner-dance. Just hope I don't have to go in to the ICU during that time...
