Hi,

Sorry for a lot of my random threads.

Was just wondering if anyone knew what drinks were available on the Soda Fountains. Is drinking water available on these?

Thanks in advance (and for the newbie threads)

Just based on soda package T&C...

Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Mt. Dew, Ginger Ale, Tonic water, Club Soda.

The soda dispenser is a gun type device with a hose going to tanks underneath

the bar - each flavor has its own individual tank where the concentrate is

mixed with carbonated water at the gun head of the dispenser.

There are for the most part only a few flavors available in the normal mode.

As for Ginger Ale and Tonic Water (Root Beer) these are usually in cans since

these are not a high volume demand drink.

The selections available usually are the Pepsi; Diet Pepsi; Sierra Mist; Mt. Dew

and Club Soda (carbonated water without flavoring) and lastly just cold

filtered ships water.

There are no soda fountains on NCL ships. If you want a soft drink you have to go to one of the bars (or order while dining), but there are no fountains. You can get water the same places. Soft drinks are not free.

Note the dispensing point is not like the Buffet with self service devices i.e.

OJ in the am and flavored drinks later in the day like Tahitian flavored water.

The dispensing soda device is located behind the bar is for bar tendering

use/service only - not customer self service. Except for water there is a $$$

charge factor applied on your account or waived if on the UBP or SDP.

Heya, yep you can get water.

It is umm... Pepsi, Pepsi max, lemonade... normally some type of fizzy orange like Fanta. Most normal things :-)

Pepsi Max, now called Pepsi Zero Sugar, is not available, even though I wish it was. It's made with aspartame, the same sweetener that is in Coke Zero. Diet Pepsi, which is available on NCL is now made with sucralose, and IMHO sucks compared to the old formula.

Oh okay! I literally can't tell the difference at all. You seem to be a Pepsi expert so I'll trust you on that one :)
