Prinsedam Library

For any recent Prinsedam folks i'd like to hear more about the library. What do you think of the selection?

i assume there is also a leave one take one paperback section...how is that?

We were on the Prinsendam last fall. The library is pretty extensive with a selection of both fiction and non-fiction books. There is also a book exchange.

Be Warned

HAL has gotten rid of all the librarians. People have been reporting that some of the libraries have empty spaces where books were. People have also reported that the paperback exchange is in poor shape.

Libraries have not been touched on the S & R ships nor on the Prinsendam.

 

 

For the P'dam - don't forget to go through to the Oak Room which has more books in it along with some very comfortable chairs.

I'd like a current report, too. Rumor had it during our November Prinsendam transatlantic that the librarian would not be replaced when her contract was up.

We really like the Prinsendam's library. Been on her twice.

I was on the last cruise in Oct with the librarian and then back again late December. The library is still well stocked but books weren't getting re-shelved as quickly as they had been previously but overall, still a good library. The "take one, leave one" was well stocked. They even had books in multiple languages. Enjoy your cruise!!!
