It would be great if they would release SOMETHING about the first Leonardo class ship.

 We really need something to look forward to!

i still have no idea where ncl is getting the $ for a new ship?

and if it's financed already, HOW?

The loans provide 80% of the contract price plus are subject to certain approvals by SACE (Italy's export credit agency).

so ncl still has to come up with 20%.

 

plus this is only for Ninja Turtle class ships # 5+6.

but im assuming #1-4 has similar terms?

Hi I think you will find this is now out of date as there may be issue with SACE and the finance 

 

I have only my financial head but I would certainly bet on their only being two Leonardos ever built. NCLH balance sheet is horrible now and the industry is sadly in tatters. My bet a merger of NCLH and Royal. BTW I know nothing other than an educated guess given the mess the industry is in.

I agree. Leonardo was supposed to go on sale last April if I recall correctly. Given the current delays we just have to wait a few more months..

 

Curious if NCL will scrap or sell any older ships ahead of the delivery of Leonardo 1.
