Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted August 14, 2017 #1051 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I don't feel tequila here... ...but after a few tequila shots I may not care. I just realized this rendering gives us another glimpse of Los Lobos, with no sign of a bar. The description of A-List does state "hand crafted margaritas" so they'll probably have a few different tequilas but it would be nice to have the full bar and the beer here, too. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted August 14, 2017 #1052 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I don't see it specifically called out but there does appear to be a bar type area in Ocean Blue. I certainly hope it's the Raw Bar again.

Ah okay... that makes me feel a little better. I don't see it specifically called out but there does appear to be a bar type area in Ocean Blue. I certainly hope it's the Raw Bar again. Raw bar would be great, as would the take-out lunch menu on the Waterfront. I believe the original Joy plans showed a "Food Republic on the Waterfront", which had me excited about the possibility of daytime al fresco dining. Am I wrong in thinking that an Ocean Blue takeout window is our only hope?

I suppose though that it would be noted on the plans if FR had seating on the waterfront. Sent from outerspace
Rare debenson0723 Posted August 14, 2017 #1055 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Oh. So what do they do? Is it the same concept as an "escape room"? Sent from my iPhone using Forums They did the Escape Room in Fat Cats on my recent Baltic Cruise on the Getaway. And prior to my cruise, they did it in the Illusionarium show room. Yes, it is the same concept...several groups (8-10), about 45 minutes to solve puzzles to 'escape, if you suceed, you win a prize. I have not been to any Escape Rooms on land so have no idea how those differ than the ones on NCL.
Two Wheels Only Posted August 14, 2017 #1056 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I was really hoping for a covered pool. One that retracts so in the Caribbean they can open it and in Alaska the could shut it.. The Haven has exactly what you were hoping for.
tiger-91 Posted August 14, 2017 #1057 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Is there not an escape room on Bliss? Nothing jumped out at me when I skimmed through it. On what ship's floor plans have you seen a dedicated Escape Room?
KMVigs Posted August 14, 2017 #1058 Share Posted August 14, 2017 NCL used a real photo (although photoshopped, the logo is missing) of O'sheehans for the Local Grill header on the Bliss website; http://eu.bliss.ncl.com/dining/the_local (y) I always called that place "Shenanigans" 🤷🏻*♂️

Hotspring Posted August 14, 2017 #1061 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Why make every ship the same with rope course/climbing wall/mini golf? I think it's great that Bliss will have none of these! Looking forward to trying new activities at sea! Sure, but what these other activities if you cannot do tag or drive? I guess time will tell. Joy certainly has more activities that what we are able to see thus far on the Bliss. Just wait until the folks outside of Haven find out how much it is going to cost do to 6 minutes of racing should a sunny day show up in Alaska. FreestyleNovice Posted August 14, 2017 Author #1063 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I thought the funnel was going to be different? Indeed, that somehow faded when the renders suddey had a normal NCL style funnel. Not going to miss the other, personally. :)
Whitefacekat Posted August 14, 2017 #1064 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Now waiting For the 'Ncl Bliss June 2 2018 1st Alaska Sailing' will be so difficult! I knew it wouldn't be enough of the new Ship smell, So I booked the 'Norwegian Bliss November 3, 2018 Panama Crossing LA to MIA' We already have a Meet and greet count of 78 and 2 pub crawls planned for the Crossing. For Alaska 30 for the meet and greet. The first day they came up for sale I booked solo on both, the pricing had sky-rocketed, Panama was $500+ more in a solo when one came up for sale last week. KristieB Posted August 14, 2017 #1065 Share Posted August 14, 2017 On what ship's floor plans have you seen a dedicated Escape Room? I haven't, people have been saying that all NCL ships have escape rooms. Is that a new thing? I don't remember that from when I went on the Getaway 3 years ago. clskinsfan Posted August 14, 2017 #1067 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I love how they have tucked the lifeboats under the waterfront deck. It cost them some cabins on deck 7 to do it. But it just makes the ship look so much better than the Escape. Now I need to book a cruise on this ship!

bamacruisersDJJ Posted August 14, 2017 #1069 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Thanks to the dougout and freestyle for all the pics and info. I don't think that I have booked enough days....so much to see and do and sip and sample. I think I will start with pairing the Cellars wine bar and Coco's. Also, Alaska can get pretty warm in the summer months and it does not rain all the time, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoor activities. I'm so excited! happy cruzin Posted August 14, 2017 #1070 Share Posted August 14, 2017 "...and an expansive casino featuring hundreds of slot machines and table games to suit the likes of novice and pro gamblers alike. In a first for Norwegian, the casino will now offer a smoking and a non-smoking casino to cater to all guest preferences." So is this a partitioned-off casino smoking section? That would free up the entire 6-7-8 common corridors to be smoke-free, eliminating one of the most common gripes for the BA and BA+ ships. Oh...I hope it is!! dolls123 Posted August 14, 2017 #1071 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Has anyone seen the floor plan for NCL Bliss Haven Aft-Facing Penthouse with Balcony. I'm booked on the May 2018 sailing and I thought it would be the same as Breakaway, Getaway & Escape but I still don't see it on the website. Also, has anyone figured out the biggest to smallest balcony sizes. I'm on the 12th floor and that balcony on the other ships is usually the second largest after the 9th floor. TheDougOut Posted August 14, 2017 #1073 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I would like to formally apologize to the Escape because I think I found a new favorite ship. So instead of not booking the Escape, you'll now not book the Bliss?
