Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted November 11, 2017 #1727 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I was told $25pp/ per event. Sent from my iPad using Forums That would be outrageous if true, IMO. (Beyond nickel-and-diming!!) :) I've heard talk that the Go Karts were something like $5 on the Joy. Tom
Rare cheersforbeers Posted November 11, 2017 #1728 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I hope it is. I tried googling, but no costs listed. Sent from my iPad using Forums
jonpilk Posted November 11, 2017 #1729 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I hope it is. I tried googling, but no costs listed. Sent from my iPad using Forums I remember seeing this discussed somewhere else. It definitely was less than $25 that people were saying. $5 sounds more like what I read before. Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted November 11, 2017 #1730 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I hope that there's at least a small thrill element to the Go-karts ... that they're not overly tame (but I suspect they will be). Perhaps it's just my cloudy memories, but take bumper cars for example. As a kid (Six Flags in the 70's) they seemed to pack a wallop. When I tried them again with our kids decades later, they felt like kiddie rides! Tom
dramatech Posted November 11, 2017 #1731 Share Posted November 11, 2017 So I have read the escapes daily planner as well as a couple of other ships. I have run into the question of if I need to buy more dining nights. With the promo I have 3 but the bliss has so many restaurants I do not want to miss out on something good. On the Norwegian Jade they had a dinner night that was complimentary at one of the pay to eat restaurants. Is that going to be a thing on these larger ships or did they just do away with that all together?
Yorkvillain Posted November 11, 2017 #1732 Share Posted November 11, 2017 We are on Oasis of the seas right now and I miss being able to see the ocean. You could always put the TV on in your stateroom that shows the live video of the ocean. [emoji3]
Victorious8 Posted November 12, 2017 #1733 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Looks like Bliss will have it's first single cruise group during the Halloween sailing. Some friends are going to be doing it and I am tempted to switch my October 8th trip... I was able to snag a good rate on the October 8th studio so not sure I want to switch. Never experienced that promotion on any NCL ship and done most of the big ones over the last couple of years (most several times)... That offer wasn’t on the Jade this year either (we did a 21 day B2B)... Sent from my iPad using Forums

TheDougOut Posted November 15, 2017 #1748 Share Posted November 15, 2017 Never mind, there is something blocking the bottom part. Yeah, I was also thinking there's a bit of an optical illusion with the current perspective & the obstructions in view (Meyer Werft has joined in on the obstruction game)... Sorry, I'm at Orange Beach in Alabama, must be this really good wine I bought and the beautiful sunset...lol Personally, I'm willing to forgive. FreestyleNovice Posted November 15, 2017 Author #1750 Share Posted November 15, 2017 I meant this gantry crane :D It fits over the whole ship, the crane driver should be aware that sometime the temporary funnel will be in place (fitted through the roof of the hall!). ;)
