Everything.. Norwegian BLISS! - launch April 2018 -

Recommended Posts

Quick question if anyone knows. We just got off Escape last week and loved the grotto in H20. Very refreshing. We booked the Bliss for February 2019 and gentleman on ship told us he didn’t think there would be a grotto on Bliss. Looking at plans/pictures, it looks like a small pool. On Joy, it looks like a big hot tub with an overhang. Can anyone tell me what this will be on Bliss? Thanks.

From what plans I saw it was not going to have a grotto. In its place was a place you could sit and cool off and walk through water. Just not as cool as the grotto. Not 100 on that but thought I saw it somewhere.

Much like everything else we've seen so far - cleaner with possibly a little more upscale feel?

Edit: I posted and laughed, seeing that I stated "more upscale feel" in a photo that also shows go-karts.

I'm cruising NCL for the first time on Bliss (12+ cruises on RC)! We've booked the mini-suite 11824. However I just noticed it is a few decks above the Humidor Cigar Lounge. With the open air promenade, will that smoke be wafting upward to our balcony? Is smoking permitted on the promenade/waterfront?

Also, the NCL promo book on Bliss, states that Margaritaville is complimentary dining. I'm seeing other posts about paying for burgers. We are not foodies, so I'm more interested in the 'included' options. Any info you can share?

Margaritaville is not complementary. Not expensive though and the nachos and burgers are worth it. I cruised on the escape and I never felt smoke was an issue in the atrium. Unlike other cruise lines ncl has something called 678 oceanplace instead of a promenade. There are designated places to smoke on the waterfront and in the pool area. It is not a free for all with the smoking. Plus you can pretty much only smoke in the casino other than the designated areas. Some people feel the smoke from the casino in 678 is an issue but I bet it varies by cruise. Like I said smoke wasn’t a problem on the escape cruise I was on.

No issues for me with smoke when I was on sister ship Escape last week.

Plenty of included dining options. Just to name a few:

Manhattan Room(dinner only)

Taste

Savor

The Local

Garden Cafe(buffet)

This ship looks unbelievable! We attended the seminar with Paquita introducing it, and my jaw literally dropped!

We didn't book for her Inauguration Cruise, but anyone on that cruise is going to have a great time!

Cruise On!❤️

We are sailing on the Bliss next October and this will be our first cruise with NCL. Does anyone know how the rooms for 4 guests are set up? Do 2 guests sleep on the couch or is there a single bed that folds down from the wall for one guest? Or something different?
