Two Wheels Only Posted April 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Interesting read. It will be an agonizing wait until Bliss' features are officially confirmed. I wonder what BA Plus #4 (for China) will have that will surpass Joy. The bar will also be very high for Project Leonardo. Maybe NCL is going after RCCL with content instead of trying to compete with size (vs. Symphony OTS).
LrgPizza Posted April 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2017 I can see the Laser Tag and virtual reality room going over well with families on a Caribbean/European based ship, but not if valuable outdoor deck space is being sacrificed. People already complain like mad about how crowded the pool decks are. It will be very interesting to see what stays and what goes as more about Bliss is revealed. FreestyleNovice Posted April 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2017 FDR bragged about the kart track on Bliss going to be bigger, cantilevered over the side and faster too I think to some reporter a while ago but that article got edited afterwards..

Sauer-kraut Posted April 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2017 Miss Casino Anyone familiar with the Breakaway class of ships (Breakaway, Getaway and Escape) will know that the casino is not enclosed and that smoking is permitted for players. The result is a residual smoke smell across a large area of the ship, which will be even more invasive on Joy, where the casino takes almost the entirety of Deck 7. Well since it is built for the Chinese market a huge casino that allows smoking is probably the biggest money maker NCL can put into that ship. That would be Deck 21

You could just make it a mixed use venue - sun deck by day and laser tag by night. The laser tag barriers could fold away during the day and have lounge chairs set out. hawkeyetlse Posted April 30, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 30, 2017 On the Joy, "Laser Battle" is a enclosed/covered venue. I don't really know anything about laser tag, but I guess it's played in the dark. So it's more than just barriers on an open deck.
