AlanLW9 Posted May 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Are there any discounts for booking a sailing within a certain amount of time from your previous sailing? Also other than shopping before for the cruise you're looking for, how does one minimize the time they have to spend with an on board booking agent? Those cruise hours are precious. :)
taglovestocruise Posted May 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Walk in knowing the ship you want, the sailing date, and the cabin number. In and out in 10 minutes. No discounts only OBC for booking onboard, if your not sure what you want just do a open jaw booking for the future. OBC has been reduced to almost nothing for the open jaw bookings. Once you book onboard you have 60 days to transfer over to another TA and still keep your OBC and whatever else they offer. We have done this several times and switched over to a online TA to pick up pre paid grats and specialty dinners. happy cruising

Best way to speed things up is to have the exact stateroom selected and to not change your booking info from how your are bookled on the current cruise. suzyluvs2cruise Posted May 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) If the current cruise was booked with a TA, the new booking automatically goes to them Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app That's true but if you don't want it to go to the TA you can ask to have it booked without. There's a form you fill out. We've done this more than once. Edited May 16, 2017 by suzyluvs2cruise
