MooNGaTe27 Posted June 11, 2017 #18 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Did you park at the port & if so what time did you get there. Just want to know if you encountered any lines getting into the port.

Yes, we did park at the port. We left Homewood Suites about 9:50 to head to the port. Already had a line of cars waiting to drop off. Only waited about 15 or so minutes before we dropped bags and headed to park. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Rare OCSC Mike Posted June 11, 2017 #20 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Just left ocean view balcony 9612 this morning. We(you) were(are) in a good location to avoid waiting for elevators if you don't mind walking stairs. Especially easy walks up to the Diamond Lounge and down to Central Park Cafe (two of my favorite locations). Enjoy the cruise and if you have or see a cabin attendant named Kadek from the Philippines (great guy), tell him Mike & Cori with the crazy family say hi! Did stairs for muster drill and saved lots of time while others waited for elevators. We were on deck 8, starboard side (behind Chops) this past December and found it a very convenient location to everything. mchin Posted June 12, 2017 Author #24 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Quick recap of day 1....parking and boarding was very smooth. A short delay in unloading but from hotel to onboard, about an hour. Experienced several upsell attempts for specialty restaurants, I already purchased the three night dining package before sailing. Once I mentioned that, the folks moved on. Dinner was in Chops last night. It's still one of our favorite speciality restaurants on board. Didn't attend any shows last night but contributed to RCCL via the casino as the norm. Also took advantage of early sailing discounts and bought a new ring. Will have it sized in St. Maarten....will post a picture on Wednesday. Today is a sea day so lots of rest and relaxation on the agenda. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
mchin Posted June 13, 2017 Author #25 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Yesterday was our first full day on board. Had a very relaxing day at Sea. It was the first formal night but we opted not to do formal dress this cruise. Dinner was Giovanni's Table. Another one of our favorites.
