We booked Celebrity Eclipse March 18, 2018. We choose traditional dining second seating 8:30PM.

Table for 2. The reservation says we are in waiting list.

What are the odds that we get what we want?

If in traditional dining how do request a table for 2 before boarding?

Good Luck! I know that with less MDR space, it has created some more issues. If we were booking close to sailing, we got late seating and once anytime/mytime seating.

If you do not get what you want, that would be the first stop on ship once on board I would do anyway to see what they can do. We used to head there first to see where our table was when they only had MDR fixed time dining just to make sure we were okay with the table location.

Wishing you a great cruise!

Send your request to celebritydining@celebrity.com approximately 2-3 weeks prior to your sail date. Include in your request your TD dining time, requested table size, name of the ship, sailing date and your names. We've always had success with our request using this link.

If you booked with a TA they should do this for you. If you booked direct with X then call them and they can indicate your preference on your reservation.

FYI most of the tables for 2 have very little space between them 4-5". Often it feel like a table for 4 or 6.

We often don't get what we requested even if reservations state it.

We just go to MDR as soon as we board and talk to the staff. We always were able to get a table for two, sometimes it requires switching to anytime dining though.

Make sure to check 90 days before sailing at the latest. Many folks who have booked earlier will decide to not sail at that point since the final payment is due. You SHOULD be able to do that on line or a call to your TA or maybe to Celebrity directly. I try to book early, one reason is a good choice of cabins, the other is we prefer to eat early. I'm an old fart......
