Port Canaveral Parking and boarding time

Recommended Posts

We use either park n cruise, which is very close to Port Canaveral and they do an excellent job, or, for just a bit more $$ but a lot more convenience, park at the terminal, which is super easy!!;p:cool:

Ditto this. We used to use Park n Cruise but now just pay and park at the port

Other than, "money is money," is there any other reason folks choose to incur the additional time involved in waiting for and riding a shuttle to your car, as compared to parking directly at the port?

We had excellent experiences parking at the terminal. If you are arriving early you most likely will get a spot in the covered garage. Yes you pay a premium over off site but oh so easy and convenient!

We have done both. IMO, it is quicker and easier to park at the port. Drop off bags, park in garage, and head to check-in. Upon return, we always get a porter who takes our luggage to our car and loads for us. Much better than standing in line waiting for a shuttle to arrive, load luggage and passengers, get to lot, unload passengers and luggage, and walk to car with said luggage.

We used parkncruise but will park at terminal for our January Majesty cruise. We are having a very hot summer and most likely fall too. With shuttle we had to stand for 10 or 15 minutes to wait to board. Once was enough for us. Would rather spend a few extra dollars and be at the terminal.

In the event you sail from Tampa their terminal parking was awesome. Will pre pay and park there again for our October Empress cruise.
