Quick question. We have the premium drink package for the 9/15 cruise but my better half wonder do you only get to drink up to the $65 per day and pay extra or is it all inclusive? First time on a cruise

We get the same package, you done good!

Everything liquid served on the ship will have the first $14 of the price covered during your time on board, ( except any delivered by room service, and the little bottles in the fridge in your cabin ) if you want the 22oz bomber @ $35.00 of Rogue double chocolate stout in the GastroBar, it's gonna cost you $21.00. If you want a glass of wine that is $14.50 like my wife, it is gonna cost you .59 cents.

But the $12 Dogfish 60 IPA your good to go as long as you don't spill it on your neighbor :')

Morning speciality coffee, juice, bottled water, beer, wine, liquor, champagne toast when you hit the jackpot in the casino, all paid, inc the 18% tip by your Premium Bev pkg!

Step outta the box, try stuff you would never waste your money on at home, don't like it, set it aside and get something else. We found out cucumber martinis are very tasty.:D

First time on a cruise

We really appreciate the feedback. Super helpful!!

That is what CC is supodda be all about, ain't it! :D

Question for ya'll.

First cruise, what and how did you come to pick Celebrity ?

How did you come to find Cruise Critic?

And at the end of the day, the truly only 'duh' question is the one you allow the yada yada folks make you not ask:eek:

The Celebrity cruise was recommended to us and we just wanted to ask questions or see different reviews though we ignore the negative. We have a celebrity suite 1233 cabin. It's our 10th anniversary celebration and want to really enjoy and see if we'd do it again . Can you not even drink bottled water out of the refrigerator in your room?

When you meet the butler on the first day don't hesitate to review with him what beverages in the room are complimentary. On our last Equinox cruise in a Celebrity Suite they stocked our mini fridge with water and soft drinks of our choice complimentary (not a published perk so might depend on mgmt at the time). We had the premium bev package included in our fare so that may make a difference. Also you can ask for water and soda from Michaels Club and take them to your room even if you don't have a package. They sometimes discourage taking wine/cocktails from the lounge but generally when we are retiring for the evening they ask if we want water/soda.

Please have a conversation with the butler on your first day and ask any questions they will go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful time. I have to believe you will enjoy the Suite Life especially.

Ned1552 we are also on the 9/15 sailing and were on Equinox twice in the last 10 months. We were in Celebrity Suite 1237 on the last trip in Feb. The suite you selected is great with the extra large balcony. You will be spoiled for your 10 anniversary. We will be celebrating our 40th on this trip.

If you haven't found it yet join the roll call and ask as many questions as you want. Many people on the roll call have been onboard Equinox multiple times.

When you get home your gonna want to take whomever made the recommendation to dinner! I promise. :D

We have sailed Celebrity since 1994, but have to to book a suite. It has perks that us regular balcony folks don't get, so not sure about the water. We grab a couple at a bar or stand, and take them back with us to the cabin.

Could you comment on whether there are internet packages available on board other than the all inclusive. I'm particularly interested in whether there is a package with a fixed number of total minutes. In the past there was a 250 minutes package available for $99, but some ships no longer have this. I've also heard of a plan offered for the "second half" of the cruise. Any pricing info would be helpful on how to do a 5 minute daily email check. I do not have a smart phone and would need ship wifi on sea days (only). Celebrity seems to unclear on the alternate options to the all inclusive internet plan.

We are onboard currently and specifically asked. The limit for the premium package is still $13. Has not been raised in years !!!
