Can I bring a case of water on the Oasis?

Hi! My parents are going on the Oasis of the Seas in a few weeks and were wondering if you can bring a case of water on the ship. I always get the drink package, so I really have no idea. Thanks!

Technically prohibited, but usually allowed. Put it in luggage as the porters may refuse an obvious case of water.

I still don't get this. I've never been thirsty on a cruise. There is plenty of water on board.

 

Having said that, yes, my experience has been that plenty of people bring water on board without difficulty.

I only drink the bottled water and the water in the room costs money. Having bottles in the refrigerator at night is really nice to come back to

You can buy bottles of water on board and put in the refrigerator to have, no need to lug a case or two of water, your on vacation, enjoy it.

Another choice is a water bottle - Brita even has one with a filter if that is a concern.

We put water and a 6 pack of soda in a duffel bag by itself and check it. It has always arrived at our cabin without issue. We use the duffel bag for souvenirs on the trip home. I hope your parents have a great cruise.

I did bring a case of 12 water on my last 4 cruises and not once *knock on wood* did they take it away from me. I just put it in a bag with handles and it always showed up.

I carried around a case from Publix for a few hours until the rooms opened. Porter wouldn't take it as is, wish I had a spare bag to stash it in.

Just returned 8/20/17-8/27/17 Allure of the Seas - Port Everglades - after reading tips from this site we purchased a case (24) of water at Walgreens and taped a bag tag on the top, checked it in with our checked bags. It was delivered intact. The risk reward is worth the try. RCL will charge you over $80 for the same 24 pack we bought for $1.99. No brainer
