Will RCCL change Oasis itinerary for September 3, and if so, where might we end up?

Just curious, if hurricane Irma moves west or jogs up a bit, where if anywhere would we all end up? Labadee-Jamaica-Cozumel might be out. Eastern Caribbean seems strange as that's where the hurricane is now. If storm moves into S. Florida-then what? I'm not in a panic-just curious, maybe more seasoned cruisers can fill me in.thanks!:)

I'm on the Allure the same date and right now it's unknown as to what port changes may occur..btw, the Allure has mechanical issues and can only make a slower speed

Nobody is going to be able to predict, for two reasons. First, more exact info on the direction Irma takes would be required before a decision is made.

 

Second, the Monsters of the Seas (Allure, Oasis, etc) can't just go anywhere...

Hurricane Irma is still east of Puerto Rico,traveling westbound as of 10:00AM EDT. The category three storm is still far away from the Caribbean but is expected to travel in either three directions. An upper level high pressure system can push it northward towards Bermuda and the eastern United States, it can travel in a westerly direction between Cuba and South Florida towards the Gulf Of Mexico, or it can travel further south and head towards the Yucatán Pennisula. It's still too early to tell. Forecast calls for further development to a category four storm with maximum sustained winds near 140MPH.
