heathermiller86nj Posted October 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2017 Hi, How much is the drink package currently going for if purchased in advance of the cruise. Is it still discounted and advantageous to buy ahead of time? Also, if my family member I'm traveling with doesn't drink, am I still able to purchase it only for me? Thank you very much. iahawkfan21 Posted October 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2017 To know current pricing, you would need to check the cruise planner for your sailing. Price listed is per day, but doesn't include the 18% gratuity that will be added. You can add to your cart to find total price with the gratuity. Currently, only select sailings on Harmony are requiring all guests to have the package and that's a trial run. So unless you're on Harmony in the near future, your other member doesn't have to purchase one.
MikeBTN Posted October 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2017 Hi, How much is the drink package currently going for if purchased in advance of the cruise. Is it still discounted and advantageous to buy ahead of time? Also, if my family member I'm traveling with doesn't drink, am I still able to purchase it only for me? Thank you very much. Price varies based on ship and date. My upcoming Oasis sailing it is 55 per person, per day and then you need to add 18% gratuity. An upcoming Freedom sailing I was able to get for $39. jasper15 Posted October 3, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2017 It is always more expensive on-board. Book it early. If the price drops, cancel it and re-book. Do not wait until you get on the boat.

Bobblehat71 Posted October 3, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 3, 2017 There is no mention of the additional 18% gratuity on the UK site. Is the just an American thing? Current price for my cruise is £42.
Rare little britain Posted October 3, 2017 #12 Share Posted October 3, 2017 The gratuity is included in the final price you see when it is in your”basket”. When sailing from England all prices include the tips. It’s the law. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Scottygirl1 Posted October 4, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 4, 2017 On our sailing for Ovation of the Seas next year it won't allow just one package to be bought - they must have introduced the "everyone in the same cabin" policy for our sailing. jamesr3939 Posted October 4, 2017 #20 Share Posted October 4, 2017 It does look like the "everybody must purchase" rule is going fleet wide. So if you find your cruise will still let you buy just for one PAX then I would buy it if only one wants the drink package. I suspect being able to purchase for just one person will disappear if it hasn't already.
