Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #77 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Did I miss what room type you are in ? Looks pretty spacious! First post :). I'm not an accessible guest but it was the last room available in the category so I'm in an inside accessible cabin M category. It is Very spacious especially for just 1 person Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Virtopia Posted October 15, 2017 #79 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Could you find out if they offer the drink card anytime during your sailing please? I’d love to get one in a few weeks [emoji5] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Russ Lomas Posted October 15, 2017 #80 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Does this mean that RCCL has finally done away with the horrible mushy BBB Creme Brulee and gone back to the classic (normal) version
Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #81 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Good Morning from Cafe Promenade. This is the place to grab coffee and a light breakfast before 7:00am. I keep my room as cold as possible which means the rest of the ship feels like a desert. It was super windy this morning almost lost my hat and my phone. We arrive St. Kitts at 9:00am and I'm spending the day at Ocean Terrace Inn. Not an ocean front property but it's supposed to offer amazing views of the island. Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #82 Share Posted October 15, 2017 On the Marriott Stellaris FaceBook they say they are not taking reservations so it sounds like maybe just 1st Responders there. Pls let us know that everything is OK with your day pass. I hope so! And many thanks for your review. We are on Celebrity Summit in 11/11/17 and cannot wait to hear how everything goes! And want to hear all about a single cabin as I did not know they exist on RC! Bon Voyage! You are correct. Their rooms are full with relief workers and journalist but those guests are not using their pool and beach. I will share lots of pictures on the 21st when I get there in the morning. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #83 Share Posted October 15, 2017 I find it helpful to take pictures of the daily schedule and then I can check the schedule on my photo instead of carrying the compass everywhere. My plans when I get back on board is to cost Next Cruise, dinner in windjammer because tonight is formal and buffet is Asian cuisine which is my favorite. After dinner I'll try just a $20 in the casino and go to the 9:00pm show Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #91 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Love your review and all the info! If u get a chance to tell us what it was like at the airport and port as far as air conditioning, lines, if organized or chaos, etc. Flight arrived into San Juan with no issue, but it was very crowded. Shops and restaurants were open. I only have carry on bag, but others mentioned they had to wait a while for their bags to be available. The RCCL transfers were crazy only because everyone was using them so I would recommend taking a taxi it was less than 15 minutes to get to the pier. Once at the pier check in was quick and easy. Elevators on the ship were very busy so I just carried my things up 5 decks to my cabin on 10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lauraodonnell86 Posted October 15, 2017 #94 Share Posted October 15, 2017 You are doing such an awesome job! We've been on Adventure 6 times and it's so great to see your pics of the ship. We were originally scheduled for her in January but our B2B was over the dry dock time so we moved to Jewel. :loudcry: Very sad that we probably won't sail on Adventure from San Juan again. But we are looking forward to Freedom in 2019! Keep up the great review and pics! (y)
Virtopia Posted October 15, 2017 #95 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Thanks for the drink card info whenever you’re able to get it. I’m also considering Ocean Terrace Inn for our stop in St Kitts so can’t wait to see pictures and hear your review about it. By chance, in Curaçao, are you going to Santa Barbara resort? It’s amazing! [emoji5]costly yes, but well worth it. I’m going back there during my sailing. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Adventure is very special to us. We too are sad that Adventure won't be sailing from San Juan after April 2018, but looking forward to sailing on the Freedom b2b in May 2018 from San Juan and possibly again May 2019. Mercruiser Posted October 15, 2017 #98 Share Posted October 15, 2017 . . . The RCCL transfers were crazy only because everyone was using them so I would recommend taking a taxi it was less than 15 minutes to get to the pier. Once at the pier check in was quick and easy. Good to know. There has been a lot of concern on our roll call that taxi's would not be available. It sounds like taxis are readily available. Rare happychippy Posted October 15, 2017 Author #99 Share Posted October 15, 2017 I'm posting from the gorgeous Ocean Terrace Inn, in St. Kitts. Very surprised with this place. Resort for a Day sold the Pass for $69 and it includes $40 for drink and/or lunch. It was less than 10 minute taxi ride so just $8 for one person one way. As soon as I got out they were welcoming me with a cold press towel and a rum punch(very strong) and they showed me around. This is not a wheel chair friendly property as there are many stairs. But if you have trouble walking they have a shuttle that can take you down to the pool area. The views were just as I was hoping for. Room rates start at just $125 a night, I could spend more time here just relaxing. She said they were fully booked but I saw just two other guest who were sunning by the pool. Fresh water pool with a swim up bar and other bar service by the pool. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. It is like a hidden secret. I will post more pictures after I'm done today. And we are like you and travel light! We will each have a wheeled carry on bag with a tote so we do not have to wait for luggage! After all - we really just need bathing suits for the daytime!
