Rare MicCanberra Posted January 1, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2018 One day....... Good luck , but a one day cruise would just be a harbour cruise as they normally go for at least 8 or 9 days over NYE.;p

Rare mr walker Posted January 1, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Thanks David. Your listing reminded me that last year we were on NYE cruise (Carnival Legend) & last New Years Day we were in Vila, having celebrated NYE on-board. What a difference a year makes

Kiwi Kruzer Posted January 3, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Thanks David. Your listing reminded me that last year we were on NYE cruise (Carnival Legend) & last New Years Day we were in Vila, having celebrated NYE on-board. What a difference a year makes  Thanks. I've had a couple of NYE cruises, both with Princess. They make a real Gala night of it with the Champagne Fountain and the balloon drop at midnight. Rare MicCanberra Posted January 3, 2018 #14 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Thanks. I've had a couple of NYE cruises, both with Princess. They make a real Gala night of it with the Champagne Fountain and the balloon drop at midnight. We have been with our cruise friends on the Solstice (South Pacific) in 2015/16 and also the Ovation of the Seas (NZ) for 2016/17, both were spectacular cruises with wonderful festivities. We are on the Explorer of the Seas for this years NYE 2017/18. The only reason we didn't do one this past NYE was due to our friends having another commitment and we couldn't find a cruise that suited us over the NYE which was why we did a little one just prior.
