The few suites we've done, if you arrive before boarding begins and you are then escorted to a suite guests waiting area, when boarding begins you are then escorted onto the ship and up to the specialty restaurant that serves the suite lunch.

Thank you.We must have missed the specialty restaurant part on embarkation day.Our butler was not there to take us to our suite instead a lovely young lady who spoke almost no English. No problem, this cruise we will know the ropes better.Live and learn😊

Actually the concierge is the one that escorts the suite guests on board and up to the lunch restaurant.

Sorry roger001 - beg to differ - my two cruises on the Dawn my Butler did the escorting while the Concierge

did paper work in the Lounge off ship telephoning his butlers that the guests are awaiting escort.

As for the Breakfast and Lunch for the Suite guests it was in Cagney's but is now at Moderno just around the

corner in the former Star Bar location (now Sugarcane Mohito Bar) deck 13.

Cagney's and Moderno share the same galley for food service.

Just as you enter the foyer for Moderno there is a desk that is used by the Concierge while the ship is underway.

If you look around you will find all the restaurant menus.

The Meet and Greets were formerly held in the Star Bar but are now on deck 6 inside Le Bistro.

Oh and Le Bistro and Il Casina have swapped places on deck 6 - all this over a year ago circa mid 2016.

I've been on the Dawn multiple times -- most of the time it's a butler (not necessarily YOUR butler, but A butler) that takes you to your suite. A couple of times we just went on our own because we knew the way. We've never been taken to the restaurant before the suite - generally we've gone to the room, put our bags down, eaten a chocolate covered strawberry if they're already in the room, chatted with the butler or steward if he/she comes by, programmed the safe, unpacked our carry on bags, then made our way to Cagney's/Moderno for lunch.

I'm not a huge fan of the lunch menu in the suite/Haven restaurants, but it's great to be out of the crowds!

They will gladly bring you something you would prefer eating. It might take a bit longer but they want you to be happy.

The last few times we were on a jewel class ship, the breakfast was in Moderno (using that nice buffet as the breakfast buffet) but the lunch was in Cagneys. Either way I'm sure you'll find it- they are both right next to each other.
