By the way, March is Spring Break, and Ft. Lauderdale is a prime destination.
emdia43 Posted February 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2018 It will cost double to book thru the cruiseline... Try Hyatt Place and book it via Valutrips.com for better rates.

frank808 Posted February 16, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2018 You can also try embassy suites or Hilton marina. Both are on 17th street. Literally across the street from the port entrance. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
CruiseGal999 Posted February 16, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2018 I usually get better rates booking on my own and using AAA or AARP discounts.
rpp77 Posted February 16, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Are you a "Starwood Preferred Guest" or a "Marriott Rewards" member? I just booked 2 nights next January for 20,000 Starwood points at the Westin Beach Resort - Ft. Lauderdale. If you don't have any points, don't sweat it. They're running a 35% off sale thru March 16th on any point purchases over 5,000. Normally, at the time I'm going, it's $550.00 per night. If you buy the 20,000 points outright to cover both nights it comes out to $455 for both nights! Not sure if they'll charge you more points for stays in March but it's worth looking into! Merion_Mom Posted February 16, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 16, 2018 There are so many internet booking sites these days. Try them. Always find the one that you like then check the hotel's own website. It is useful to compare - sometimes the best deal is on the hotel's own site.
