Rare mom says Posted March 6, 2018 #26 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Yeah, what Phoenix-dream said. It's more of a spritz than a spray, and it goes into the toilet bowl, not into the sir. Anyway, whether you use it or not, you should check out their "before you go" videos on their website. They are hilarious. But not for those who are offended by potty humour. https://www.poopourri.com
bEwAbG Posted March 6, 2018 #27 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I would just tell the other party in the cabin to go to a public facility if it's so bad that you need chemicals to cover up the stench.
voyager70 Posted March 6, 2018 #28 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Another vote for Poo-pourri!
Rare hcat Posted March 6, 2018 #29 Share Posted March 6, 2018 In AQ class, they provide a nice reed dispenser..but we always bring a small spray.. Understand allergies are difficult..but to us the plug in types always smell awful and artificial and are fire hazards!
gold1953 Posted March 6, 2018 #30 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Those reeds are horrid . I contact Celebrity ahead and insist that they not be on in my cabin. I agree people should be respectful of others health and not use air fresheners which are actually chemical pollutants. Use them in your home and not in a place that is not your's
Cruise a holic Posted March 6, 2018 #31 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Just hope I never book a cabin where one of these dreadful chemical smelly things have been use prior Agree! Also if you are in AQ they have smelly oils in the cabin- so you can use them if you dare- the smelly gives me a headache. IMO horrible.
mimimoo2 Posted March 6, 2018 #32 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I use a Scentsy travel tin or a scent pak. You can close the travel tin if you don't need it and I bring a baggie for the scent pak.

mama b Posted March 6, 2018 #34 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I always bring Poo Pourri Before you go toliet spray. You spray it in the toliet before you go, and it keeps the bathroom from smelling.
Rare hcat Posted March 6, 2018 #35 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I like the reeds and use them at home along with regular pot pourri, rather than plugs ins and sprays....but agree that allergy suffers must find another solution, bathroom air quality on ships is generally poor The worst is being in an elevator with an overperfumed ...really aggravates the allergies. I don’t understand why people wear perfume. Horrible for those of us as you say with allergies. I have had to change my seat in the theatre as I find the smell horrible. I don’t get why good old soap and water aren’t enough .
