cruiser20145 Posted March 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I have a cruise that I have decided on for Spring Break 2019 that is over a year away. When is the best time to book, while also assuring that I get the cabin I want?

cruiserbrianj Posted March 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I’d say now. Things book up quicker than you may think, especially during peak time Sent from my iPhone using Forums
bury me at sea Posted March 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2018 For our purposes booking as early as possible under Past Guest rate has had good results.
teknoge3k Posted March 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2018 ES always works best for us, so when I see a cruise I want, I book it as far in advance as possible. Then I keep an eye on the rates and if they drop I get the price protection. We've already started booking our summer 2019 cruises so I get the rooms I want. Joebucks Posted March 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2018 As soon as you are offered a rate with perks like price protection, upgrade, and OBC, I'd book it. If it goes lower, you get the difference if you call in. You don't want to risk it going up.

When is the best time to book, while also assuring that I get the cabin I want? Generally, prices tend to go up, not down.
