I just check and my date comes up under dealer's choice casino offer.

Would I be able to switch to another/better casino offer it came available?

Would the same rules above apply to that as well?

I have done this twice. As the other cruiser stated it had to be the same cabin category.

I did this for my January Magic cruise.  Booked under dealer's choice, and 1 month later it turned into a premier cruise.  Emailed my pup and she changed it to premier - same cabin, same cost.  Instead of $200 I will be getting $1,500 in caasino credits, plus all the perks of the premier sailing.  With the casino cash, this cruise was free - except for my gambling costs, if any.

I have been able to in the past under the following conditions

(1) the room I had already booked was in the same category (inside) as the room that the casino offer was for

 - AND -

(2) There was still availability to book that particular cruise under the offer code for the casino offer,

I know I'm getting technical here and please forgive me, does the availability only have to be in the category of room, like balcony, inside, etc, or does if have to be the same category like 8E or 9E, etc?

In my case it was the room type.  My casino offer was for an inside room and I was already booked in an inside room.

These are my offers right now.  I wish i could book one of the 50% off casino rates cruises--they are dirt cheap, but they only go thru December and my husband works retail and cannot take any vacation in November or December.☹️

Anyone here ever offered an Echo cruise?

Only thing I could find was this article from Cruise News from 2016  @ https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=7358

(11:26 a.m. EST) -- From today through Wednesday, November 23, the first 1,150 people to book a Carnival cruise by clicking through an ad on Amazon will receive a free Amazon Echo Dot device.

The device, valued at $49.99, is a hands-free, voice-controlled unit that can play music, control smart home devices, read the news, answer questions, set alarms and more.

Cruises booked during this promotional period must be taken between March 2017 and April 2019, must be paid in full at the time of booking, and are nonrefundable.

The partnership between Carnival and Amazon is being marketed as a "pre-Black Friday deal."

"Amazon has a huge audience with the potential to introduce thousands of new consumers to the world of cruising, so being one of the first cruise lines to work with them for a Black Friday promotion opens a world of possibilities," said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, in a news release.

Cruise Critic is rounding up all the best Black Friday/Cyber Monday cruise deals. Look for them on Wednesday, November 23.

Dumb question, I got a casino offer that includes drinks on us and some free play. I'm booked on a cruise in January under early saver. The casino rate is discounted over the prevailing rate, but still higher than what we paid (even with the free play included).

Is there any way to get the casino perks added without repricing to the new higher casino rate?

I got the same offer, I called and I had to switch to the slightly higher rate. I took it though because of the free drinks.

I spoke to a couple different agents and they seemed to be confused on who in my cabin got what. Both of us in the cabin received the same offer. One agent said only one of us gets $50 and free drinks, the other agent (when transferred to the Casino Department) said we both get $50 and free drinks in the casino.

I know one of the agents was wrong, now I'm trying to figure out what I'm really getting. Anyone have any ideas? I feel like the fact that we both had the promo showing on our account confused them.

Here's the offer:

No dumb question!

We had 2 offers, an ultra and a repeat, and the repeat was 1/2 the price of the Ultra, $2000. less on a 14 day journey cruise!

We called and asked the same question, and the answer was no, you pay the extra to book the Ultra casino cruises!

We decided the prizes we were guaranteed with the Ultra were not worth the higher cruise price, so we stuck with the repeat price at $2000. less!

So no you won't get the better offer unless you pay their price for that offer!

Yes you can, but this is where having a PVP at Carnival you're loyal to(they make money off your loyalty) really helps you get what you want!

If your PVP doesn't work for you, get a different one!

It's been our experience that when both my husband I receive an offer, we both get it.  I've called and confirmed on previous cruises.  However, bring your offers with you.  If when you are there and they don't have one of your offers already applied, bring your offer to the casino and show the host.  This has happened to us once and the host was very gracious and honored the offers to my husband.

We have had this happen to us in the past.  We were booked for one casino offer (getaway w/free drinks no free play) but then received a better offer (premier free cruise w/free drinks and $500 free play).  We called and were able to switch offers without forfeiting our original "non-refundable" deposit".  It should be noted that we were told we could do this because the new offer was for the same category of room we were already booked in.
