the bingo is def fixed. if i play, i only play twice. the first day, because you have a chance to have your receipt randomly pulled to play free all week. then the last day, because tehy will never give away the coverall jackpot during the week because that's what gets people in, the thrill of possibly winning.

that said, ive never seen anyone on any of my sails win the coverall.

deal or no deal is a scam too. people are idiots with this game tho, ive seen people have $500 or so and instead of taking the deal they really think they can beat the computer, and they then walk away with fifty cents.

On one of my recent cruises someone in the crowd playing deal or no deal won the cruise for 2 by getting 7 matches.  I was shocked.  I have seen many times someone in the crowd $400+.  Now as for the player 9 out of 10 times the first deal is the best.

That wouldn't shock me because giving a free cruise costs the line almost nothing and ensures every person in that room watching will participate in this and future Deal or No Deal games because they "saw a win" .... similiar to when casinos paid out in coins and the till was engineered to maximize the acoustic sounds to entice others to believe they could win - even though they heard minimum value payouts.

I'm always amazed that people think BINGO is a legitimate opportunity to win money........ churches are a non profit and need to make money so guess what their number one community activity is - BINGO.  A money maker.

Wow, I wonder what the odds are of hitting 7 of 10 matches in Deal or No Deal?

I host something called "Music Bingo."  Same concept, 75 songs in the til.  I have my progressive jackpot payout at 59 or less.  It might hit once every 6 months at all of my shows combined.

I've been doing this 3 years, never once ever, has anyone hit in 48 or less.  The closest anyone ever came was 50 songs.

It's not fixed, it's just nearly impossible to do it.

This thread made me chuckle this morning.  Rigged may be a strong word but lets just say the odds are against you.  I noticed that NCL stopped posting a "winners wall" on their ships. In 2009 on the Jewel, they would take  a photo of a "big" winner and how much they won.  The big winners were about $4500, $2500, etc.  And these winnings happened years apart.  Then it hit me to think how much those slots take in cruise after cruise yet a substantial winner only happens once a year or so.   After your second cruise you also figure out that the "Jackpot Bingo" prize seems to never happen until the last day of the cruise.  Not sure how but it seems to always happen that day 🤭   Casinos at sea are not subject to the same rules and regulations as casinos on land.  We don't know how they are regulated at all.   While playing Bingo on the Sky many years ago, I asked the question when was the last time someone won the $25,000 bingo (as they advertise it).  I was told by a casino member that it happened 5 years prior.  Who knows the next time it happened after my cruise.  It could have been another 5 years at least 🤪
