Ifortworth Posted April 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Anyone have any tips for successfully getting a little whiskey on board? In a wine bottle? Something else? Thanks Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app
klfrodo Posted April 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Nobody in the history of this board has ever posted anything about how to smuggle alcohol on a cruise ship. However, if one spends 10 minutes going back thru past threads, one might read some theories.

Ifortworth Posted April 9, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Google "rumrunners". Easy peasy. Put in checked luggage.Thank you! I'm familiar with the term. Just hadn't researched them specifically yet. But if that's something that generally works, I'll certainly check in to it. Again, thanks. Ifortworth Posted April 9, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Please just tell me you're a generous tipper. You are, right?20-25%. Why? Lol. I plan on taking care of the ship's staff. I usually do. Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

Bookster99 Posted April 9, 2018 #15 Share Posted April 9, 2018 There are several methods for smuggling whiskey on board, and they all may or may not work depending on the business and scrutiny of security. I had considered trying this for a time, really just for sport to see if I can do it. In truth, I have found that the drinks on the ship just aren't so expensive that this was worth it. SNJCruisers Posted April 9, 2018 #18 Share Posted April 9, 2018 In truth, I have found that the drinks on the ship just aren't so expensive that this was worth it. You cruised on the Norwegian Gem, whose drinks are outrageously priced so that it's necessary to have the drinks package as a perk so you don't have to pay their inflated prices. ParrotRob Posted April 9, 2018 #19 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Simple, wash out a shampoo bottle and BOOM! Perfect for that late night Clairol Herbal Colada. Or a nice Jack & Shoulders with your after-dinner cigar. Or maybe the ever-popular Chocolate Pantini - shaken, not stirred.

Chief93 Posted April 9, 2018 #22 Share Posted April 9, 2018 I wish you could pay to bring on your own bottle. I want to drink a specific bottle of scotch on my balcony. I would gladly pay whatever their markup is for the bottles of whiskey the sell on board.....the ones they will deliver to your cabin.
